Our Sunday School classes ended their 2025-2026 season recently.

Ms. Lisa D., our Christian Education Coordinator, along with our Classroom Teachers spent the last session reviewing all that the students had learned over the eight-months.

The students had learned about the Ruth, whose husband and two sons had perished due to famine. Ruth traveled to Israel with Naomi, her mother-in-law, whom Ruth cared for and took care of. To provide for them, Ruth gleaned leftover grain in the barley fields.

This story of Ruth inspired the Sunday School students to collect food items for the Moravian Church local food bank.

Afterwards, the classes enjoyed a festive celebration to the end of their Sunday School year with cupcakes and refreshments supplied by their wonderful teachers!

Looking forward to students and teachers return in September! 🫶🏻

Confirmands were presented at services today. Wyatt, Adalia, Logan and Owen,
made a public affirmation of their baptism, becoming adults members of the church.

After services, the Confirmands, their families, and the congregation were feted with a lovely reception of appetizers, celebration cake, and sweets. Appreciation to Lisa S. and Linda S. for the appetizers and sweet treats, and for hosting the event.

Appreciation to Donna W. and Pastor Hodgetts, teachers of the Confirmation class.

Friendly Reminder for this Sunday, May 24th 👇

This coming Sunday is the last day to accept donations for the shipment of the quilts by the Sewing Ladies to Lutheran World Relief.

This ecumenical quilt group is a vibrant group that meets every week to create quilts to be donated. The Sewing Group has existed since the 1950's.

Traditionally, on Mother's Day, the quilts are on display in the pews for the Annual Blessing of the Quilts before they are shipped.
