Look at what the Lord has done!!

As we took today to celebrate our incredible pastors, we’re also rounding out our look back through the last 6 years of Gods faithfulness.

Pastors Josh and Lindsey, thank you for your yes. We honor you and consider it a privilege to support your vision. As Kaylan said: We love the Jones family. We love Way Family. We love what God is doing in our midst. And we are only just beginning.

We love you, WFC. Thank you for today, for the last 6 years, and for many more to come.

Sunday, October 25, is Pastor Appreciation Day, and we have the opportunity to celebrate and honor Pastors Joshua and Lindsey!

Our pastors pour so much into our church, our families, and the vision God has given them. This is a special opportunity for us to pour back into them and show just how much we love and appreciate all they do.

Here are a few ways you can show some appreciation for all of the incredible ways they lead us and we look forward to celebrating together on Sunday!

We’ll have lunch provided, candy for our trunk-or-treaters, and activities for all ages, so this isn’t just for the kids. Come enjoy some time together, connect with your church family, and celebrate the season with us.

What a gift and adventure to follow Jesus.

We are called to reach out to all people, including those who are broken, confused, or far from God. Edmond, OKC, Moore, wherever you live - THAT is your mission field! Those are the people who you should be loving like Jesus!

Be encouraged, WFC. Church doesn’t end on Sundays - Church is wherever YOU are.

Pastor Josh spoke this week on being sent with purpose and empowered by the Spirit. Our faith isn’t just for Sundays - you are being SENT to your workplace, to your school, to your kids sporting events, while you’re shopping for groceries or home decor. We are called to be active participants in His mission, sharing the Gospel through our actions and words, and transforming our everyday environments into places of ministry and compassion.

Be challenged. Be transformed. Be like Christ. We can’t wait to see you next week as we continue deep-diving into the Gospel.

Being a “good person”, yes, can be a representation of the Kingdom, but we can’t stop there. Last Sunday, Pastor Josh encouraged us to go beyond the surface; that missionary work doesn’t just have to begin with an airplane, but also by greeting your neighbor.

The person who sits next to you at work or at school, who you pass at Walmart, or who you see every week for your fitness class… The people you see every day - they may never open a Bible, but they will remember the way you represented Jesus.
