The stone is rolled away. The tomb is empty.

Death is defeated. Hope is alive.

On this Easter Sunday, we celebrate the victory of Jesus—sin conquered, the grave overcome, and new life made possible for us all. What was finished on the cross is now fulfilled in the resurrection.

Hallelujah, He is alive… and because He lives, we have hope!

Saturday of Holy Week… the quiet in-between.

The waiting.
The wondering.
The reflection.

Everything feels still, yet heaven is not silent.
Even in the pause, even in the unknown, God is at work.

Some of the most powerful things are happening where we cannot see them—
in the stillness, in the surrender, in the silence.

Hold onto hope.
Sunday is coming.

Good Friday…

A day marked by suffering, silence, and sacrifice—
yet the very moment everything changed.

“It is finished.” — John 19:30

Not a cry of defeat, but a declaration of victory.
The price was paid in full.
Sin was overcome.
Grace was poured out freely.

This is what love looks like.

Because before there was an empty tomb,
there was a rugged cross.

And because of that cross… we have hope!

We surely hope you might worship with all of us here at Edisto on Easter, April 5th.

We’ll have TWO worship service times on Sunday morning, one at 8:30 and one at 10:00.

Because of the two services, we will NOT have Sunday School on that morning; neither will we have Kids’ Church (that we call KidzConnect) on Easter, so all kids will remain in the worship services for both the early and late services.

He is risen. He is risen indeed.

John 1:29 ~
"Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!"

In ancient times lambs were sacrificed in the temple to remind us that sin carries a cost. But those sacrifices were temporary, they pointed us forward to something greater and lasting.

Then Jesus steps on the scene of human history and reveals God's permanent plan. John said "Look, the Lamb!" Jesus is the Lamb of God provided. On the cross He carried our sins, our shame, our rebellion, our brokenness. The blood of Jesus cleanses us, purifies us and makes us holy and the barrier between us and God has been broken down and connects us to the Father's heart for all eternity~

“Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” — Luke 19:38

The King has come.
With humility.
With peace.
With purpose.

He enters quietly yet changes everything—bringing hope to the weary and light to the world.

May we see Him clearly and welcome Him fully!
