📖 Subject: THE PERSEVERANCE OF PRAYER
Scripture References: James 5:13 | Revelation 3:14 | 1 Thessalonians 5:16

🔥 It’s Time to Persevere in Prayer!

Wednesday night’s service reminded us that we cannot simply be hearers of the Word. We must be DOERS of the Word!

It’s not enough to listen, take notes, or know Scripture. We must APPLY what God has spoken to our lives!

📖 A Lesson from the Seven Churches of Revelation

Each church carried a message that still speaks to us today:

⛪️Ephesus – A church that had lost its first love.

⛪️Smyrna – A suffering church that endured persecution.

⛪️Pergamum – A church that tolerated sin.

⛪️Thyatira – A compromised church that allowed corrupting influences.

⛪️Sardis – A church that appeared alive but was spiritually dead.

⛪️Philadelphia – A faithful church encouraged to HOLD FAST!

⛪️Laodicea – A lukewarm, self-satisfied church.

The question for us today is: WHICH CHURCH ARE WE?

Are we growing spiritually or becoming comfortable? Are we standing firm in God’s Word or compromising with the world?

One message echoes throughout the letters to the churches:

📖 “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” — Revelation 3

🔥 THE CALL TO THE CHURCH TODAY

We are living in a time when prayer cannot be optional!

We must:
🙏🏽 Persevere in prayer, even when answers seem delayed.
🙏🏽 Rejoice evermore and pray without ceasing.
🙏🏽 Remain faithful when the world pressures us to compromise.
🙏🏽 Be doers of the Word, not hearers only.
🙏🏽 Press toward the mark and HOLD FAST to our faith!

We are called to be kings and priests, SALT and LIGHT in this world!

And when the battle gets difficult, remember:

👑 “Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.” — Psalm 24:8

🙌🏽 Church, don’t stop praying. Don’t stop believing. Don’t stop pressing.

The same God who sustained the faithful church then is able to sustain His people NOW!

PERSEVERE IN PRAYER. HOLD FAST. REMAIN FAITHFUL.

🕊️ Sunday Reflection | THC

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my Redeemer.” — Psalm 19:14

What a powerful reminder from God’s Word today.

Psalm 19 teaches us that:
✨ Creation declares the glory of God.
✨ The Word of God is perfect, trustworthy, and life-changing.
✨ God sees not only what we say—but also what we think.

Our prayer isn’t just for Sunday morning.
It is our prayer today and every day:

Lord, guard our mouths.
May our words bring life, encouragement, and truth.

Lord, guard our hearts.
May our thoughts, motives, and desires be pleasing in Your sight.

As we go into this week, let’s be intentional about representing Christ in both our conversations and our character. May every word we speak and every meditation of our hearts glorify the One who is our Strength and our Redeemer.

🙏 Prayer:
Father, let our lives reflect Your holiness. Purify our hearts, guide our words, and help us live in a way that honors You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🛡️ Warrior of Prayer on the Wall 🛡️

“I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night…” — Isaiah 62:6

Yesterday, True Holiness Church had the honor of celebrating our beloved Associate Pastor, Elder Bernice Andrews—a woman whose life has become a living testimony of unwavering faith, sacrificial love, and steadfast prayer.

Elder Bernice is more than an intercessor. She is a watchman on the wall, faithfully standing in the gap for families, the church, our community, and generations yet to come. She embodies what it means to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18), not because circumstances are easy, but because obedience is her lifestyle.

She has taught us that prayer isn’t based on emotion—it’s based on faith. Whether in joy or in hardship, she continues to seek God’s face, trusting that He hears every prayer.

Her life reflects service in every season:
🌿 Caring for her late parents, Bishop John Andrews and Mother Katherine Andrews, with honor and love.
❤️ Faithfully caring for her late sister, Lynn.
📖 Teaching and living God’s Word with sincerity and humility.
🙌 Leading God’s people in praise and worship.
🌸 Using her gifts in sewing, gardening, and floral arranging to bless others.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Planting seeds of faith into the lives of her nieces, nephews, and everyone God places in her path.
🏛️ Serving as a pillar in both the church and the community.

Elder Bernice reminds us that intercession is one of the highest expressions of love. Prayer warriors understand that the battle isn’t over until God says it’s over. Like the watchman described in Ezekiel 22:30, she has faithfully stood in the gap for countless people, often carrying burdens that others never see.

Yesterday was also a reminder that while she faithfully prays for others, the church must pray for the intercessor.

Our prayer for you, Elder Bernice, is this:

“Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee…” — Isaiah 43:1-3

May the Lord continue to strengthen you, refresh your spirit, and reward your faithfulness. May He keep your heart encouraged, your hands strengthened, and your voice lifted in prayer. God hears you. Heaven knows your name.

Thank you for standing on the wall. Thank you for fighting the good fight of faith. Thank you for loving God’s people so well.

A MOVE OF GOD CANNOT BE STOPPED.
Throughout Scripture, we see the same truth: when God begins to move, no person, circumstance, or obstacle can stop His plan.
📖 "I will pour out My Spirit..." — Joel 2:28-30
📖 "I am watching over My word to perform it." — Jeremiah 1:12
God is pouring out His Spirit, and He has chosen us to be part of His work.
Jesus commissioned us:
➡️ "Go and make disciples." (Matthew 28:18-20)
➡️ "Go into all the world and preach the gospel." (Mark 16:15)
The harvest is ready (Matthew 9:37). Our assignment is clear.
As ambassadors of Christ, we are called to share the gift of salvation with love, grace, and compassion. Every person who walks through the doors of the church is someone God is drawing to Himself. They may not look like us. They may not dress like us. They may carry tattoos, brokenness, addictions, or painful stories.
But remember—we all came to Christ needing His mercy.
Instead of condemnation, let's offer prayer. Instead of judgment, let's extend love. Heaven rejoices when one sinner repents, and we should rejoice too.
Don't become a kink in the flow of what God is doing.
❤️ Love your neighbor as yourself. (Luke 10:27; Galatians 5:14)
As we closed Wednesday night's service, we were reminded of the Prayer of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:10) and the assurance found in Jude 1:24-25—that God is able to keep us from falling and present us faultless before His glory.
Let's stay focused on the mission.
Let's love people well.
Let's share the Gospel boldly.
A move of God cannot be stopped.

Wednesday Service Recap
Subject: This Chapter of My Faith

“God…calls those things which be not as though they were.” — Romans 4:17

This was a powerful reminder that we are not just people who talk faith…
we LIVE by faith.

In this season, God is calling us beyond what we can see, beyond what we can calculate, and beyond what feels comfortable.

📖 We walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)
📖 The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17)

This chapter of your life is not ordinary —
it is a FAITH chapter.

There is a stirring…
There is a birthing…
There is a call to believe God beyond where you’ve been.

Even Abraham, at 75 years old, received a promise and simply believed God.
And in that belief, something supernatural was set in motion.

💭 Ask yourself:
What is God doing in this chapter of my faith?

Remember:

* We may speak it… but only God brings increase
* We may pray… but only God heals
* We may witness… but only God saves

🔥 We are going from faith to faith
🔥 God is taking us beyond
🔥 This chapter will produce something in your life

Declare today:
“Faith, fail me not!”

✨ Wednesday Night Service ✨
📖 Scripture Focus: Romans 10:9

Salvation is more than words—it begins with a heart of true repentance.

Some say there is no such thing as a sinner’s prayer, but the Word teaches us that repentance is necessary for salvation.

Jesus calls us to more than confession—He calls us to transformation.

The 4 R’s:

🔹 Recognize that I’m a sinner
🔹 Remorse over my sins
🔹 Repentance from my sin
🔹 Regeneration for my entire life

Matthew 5:3 reminds us to repent.
Luke 13 teaches that without repentance, there is no salvation.

God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

Repentance is not just feeling sorry—it is turning away from sin and turning fully to God.

Ask yourself:
Have I truly repented, or have I only repeated words?

Sunday Reflection – Part 2
📖 John 15:18
If you are a Christian, you have a target on your back.

As believers, we must understand that not everyone will accept our faith, our standards, or our walk with Christ. Jesus warned us that if the world hated Him, it would also hate those who follow Him.
We are living in times where attacks, division, and spiritual warfare are evident all around us—even in leadership and across our nation. We must continue to pray for our President, our leaders, and for Christians all over the world who are facing persecution for their faith.

📖 Ephesians 6:10 reminds us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
This is not the time to grow weary. This is the time to stay prayed up, armored up, and standing firm in Christ.
📖 Luke 21:8 reminds believers to keep their heads up—our redemption draws near.
The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy…
📖 John 10:10
…but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it more abundantly.

Stay encouraged. Stay faithful. Stay ready.

Sunday Reflection – Part 1

Subject: Being Mindful of the Things of God
📖 Matthew 16:1-24

As Christians, sometimes we get caught up in the things we want and try to work them out our own way. Like Peter, our intentions may be good, but our minds can be focused more on human concerns than on the will of God.

Peter wanted to help Jesus, but Jesus reminded him that His purpose included carrying the cross. In the same way, we all have a cross to bear.

Sometimes our cross looks like discipline—getting up when we don’t feel like it, turning off the TV, praying when we’d rather rest, forgiving when it hurts, and obeying when it’s uncomfortable.
Lord, help us.
God wants to use each of us to help people. Someone around you needs to know Jesus. Someone is waiting on your obedience, your testimony, your kindness, your witness.
God sees beyond the outside—He looks on the inside of us. He knows our heart, our struggles, and our potential.
We must be willing and obedient vessels for Christ.
Let us stay mindful of the things of God, not just the things of man.
📖 2 Peter 1:2-9 reminds us to grow in grace, faith, virtue, knowledge, self-control, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love.
May we daily choose His will over our own.
