everyone is invited to World Relief Service's Advocacy Open House this afternoon! Join us on Thursday, September 10 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2502 11th St, Eau Claire.
Use your voice to engage in advocacy. Learn about issues affecting immigrants, write or call your elected representatives, and pray for your community - local, state, and national - at this non-partisan event. Come for an hour or even just 10 minutes to show your support for immigrants in our community.
The event is open to the public. Share this invitation with anyone you know who might be interested in joining us!
The Advocacy Day Open House is part of Welcoming Week, a community-wide celebration from September 10-19. Welcoming Week is an annual campaign that celebrates the work in communities to become welcoming places for all, including immigrants.
