An Honored Moment of Encounter : Archbishop McKnight Visits Christ’s Peace

We had the great honor of welcoming our newly appointed Archbishop, Most Rev. Shawn McKnight , to Christ’s Peace House of Prayer last week.

It was his first visit, and he was able to get a true feel for the center as he toured the main building, one of the cabins, and heard more about our mission of fostering silence, solitude, and encounter with the Lord.

After his visit, he shared these kind words on Facebook:
It was a blessing to visit Christ's Peace House of Prayer for a tour and to spend time with their dedicated staff. This is no ordinary retreat center; it is a place where silence, solitude, and the beauty of creation form a doorway into deeper communion with God. Their ministry reminds us that renewal begins when we make space to listen to the Lord.
If you have not yet visited, I encourage you to consider a retreat in the new year. A few days of quiet with God can reshape the he art more than we often realize.
