Today, May 24th, we celebrate Pentecost. Don’t forget to wear red to church. Worship is at 10:00am.
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. For those taking final exams, we pray for peace to guard their hearts and minds, protecting them from anxiety, depression & loneliness. When they feel stressed or overwhelmed, remind them of Your constant love and that they are never alone. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
