Yesterday, after 45+ years of ministry, I announced my retirement from full-time ministry effective September 1. Dianne and I will be relocating to Wi******er, KY, my hometown. Seems my life is making a full circle back to where it began. This is a bittersweet transition as we have loved and been loved by the congregation here at Little Paint for the past 17 years. Looking forward to reacquainting with some old friends from the former years and seeing what God has in store for us. We appreciate your prayers for a smooth transition.

Backyard VBS training this Sunday afternoon at 4:00! This is for all volunteers--anyone helping in any capacity with any of the backyard VBS groups. If you haven't signed up to volunteer yet, you can still do so--or just come to the meeting Sunday!

What a pleasure Sunday honoring our graduating seniors Peyton Conley, Jacob Slone, Marissa Hamilton, Shane Blair, and Mary Beth Helton yesterday. Juniper Johnson graduated from elementary to middle school and we welcome her into the student youth ministry.

Congratulations to Trenton Hamilton on his graduation from Western Kentucky University and to Emmy Gearheart for earning her cosmetology license!

What a great weekend the men had at “Men Equipped—Becoming the Men Calls Us to Be.” Thank you, Brad White, for allowing the Lord to use your story to be an encouragement to others.  Thank you, Ben Stephens, to you and your band for leading in worship. It was a powerful time together!

VBS 2026 . . . How about taking VBS out of the church? We are considering "backyard" VBS this year! This plan takes the VBS experience out of the church and into the community--to the home of church members, to a park, to a neighborhood, to a public pavilion. The possibilities are great!
