We are so close to a new church year! Here are the Soul Matters themes for the 2026-2027 year that we base our monthly speakers and events around. We look forward to seeing you at our first Sunday Service back on September 13th!

If you're stopping by the West Seneca Farmers' Market tonight, be sure to visit the little white shed where the Unitarian Universalist Church of East Aurora will be hosting a scavenger hunt for kids of all ages that highlights the church’s values of justice and generosity, with prizes for completion. Coloring pages will also be available, as well as handouts for adults and parents that detail the church's upcoming events. Hope to see you there … and invite a friend or two!

Come say hi and learn about our upcoming programming at the market tonight!

Please join us from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at the West Seneca Farmers' Market, located at 1250 Union Road (Union Road & Main Street)! We'll have farmers, food producers, artisans, food trucks, picnic tables, rec activities for kids, entertainment by Natalia & Jamie Pernick, from approximately 5 to 6:30 p.m. and more. Our guest vendors will include the Amana Garden Club of West Seneca and St. John's Lutheran Church. Plus, the little white shed attraction this week will feature the UU Church of East Aurora. The final Lions Club Summer Concert of the season will feature Crash Cadillac at 6:30 p.m. And of course, a big thank you to our market sponsor, Western New York Federal Credit Union!

The Green Sanctuary's Pollinator Beds really took off this season! If you have a chance to walk through them, you will see many bug friends enjoying the flowers and foliage. We are excited to see how this project grows and changes each year while we continue to provide for our local wildlife.

The Greater Buffalo Memorial Society, which has existed for several decades, is connected with three area funeral homes which offer lower prices for its members. Come and hear about how to join and what you can plan for ahead of time.
