Last Sunday, Luke Murphy took us through a collection of scriptures describing "The Basics of Life," and our crew in Mexico returned today from their mission trip!

Happy Tuesday to you!
Pastor Mike went through a large chunk of Romans 9 this last weekend, and we saw amazing work done in the lives of the teens at High School Camp!

Please be praying for all of our folks on their mission trips to Mexico, and to Camp Levi, that their love for God would reflect loudly and joyously to those they interact with.

Hello friends and family! In just over two weeks we will be gathering for our annual BBQ & Baptisms up at Camp McLoughlin at Lake of the Woods.

On Sunday, August 30, we will meet at the camp at 3:00pm to swim and relax, and then we will eat at 5:00pm. If you’d like to eat, we do need you to register in the foyer on Sunday, or here: https://forms.gle/vLvgxJAtQ58CkktAA
If you’d like to bring your own sides or drinks, you are welcome to!

Worship will follow dinner, and then baptisms will happen. If you’d like to be baptized, please plan to meet with Pastor Mike or Pastor Norm before the event to discuss it. Otherwise, come and cheer for those who are proclaiming their faith!

Finally, a few technical notes: Parking is very limited, and it is a bit of a walk to the waterfront. We encourage you to carpool, or ride up in the church bus or van. This is a beautiful camp that we are generously allowed to use, so please be respectful of the facilities. Also, it is not a place for young children to be left unattended. Bathrooms will be available, but no other facilities will be open at the camp.

Are you a young person looking to learn more about musical worship? Whether you're already involved, looking to start, or just want to learn and grow, you are encouraged to join Dakota Lacombe, beginning Sunday, September 6, for a a deep-dive into the Scriptures to discover the significance behind leading and participating in musical worship. The class will take place in the Fellowship Hall at 8:30am.

This class is for ages 11-21 (Middle School - Young Adult), and sign-ups are required, which can be accessed through the Church Center app, or here: https://epcbc.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3667963
Sign-ups are due by Sunday, August 30.

What you can expect from this class:

Good morning and blessed Wednesday to you all! This last weekend, Pastor Mike took us through Romans 8:31-39.

Please be in prayer for our High School Camp, which starts tomorrow and will have at least 100 students in attendance! We are excited to see how God moves in these young men and women.

This Saturday, August 1, we have had to relocate from our South Umpqua Falls trip, due to fire closures in that area. Instead, we will be heading to TouVelle Park for a day of fun! Lunch will start at noon for those who have signed up (sign-ups are no longer available). If you did not sign-up, you can always bring a lunch and come hang with us!

We will be meeting at the far end of the park, and we hope to see you there! Remember, this is a free, church-wide event, so bring your family and friends along!

To our friends in the community:
If you, or someone you know, have been displaced and evacuated by the threat of the fire in the valley, the Eagle Point Community Bible Church parking lots are open for your trailers and tents! Come morning, staff will open up the building for folks to use the restrooms and get out of the heat if needed!

More details will come as the situation evolves, but if you are able, please share this post so we can get the word out.
