It's easy to get busy and forget to pray, but even ONE day without prayer is a missed opportunity to connect to our heavenly Father, our source of power. The Bible encourages us to pray continually. Pray in every circumstance - in the midst of good things and difficult things. Pray for your nation, your city, your church, your leaders, your family, coworkers, and friends. Pray for wisdom and guidance. God hears you and strengthens you through prayer.

Galatians 5:22-23: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Our prayer is that the Spirit's work would be evident in us, and that we will exhibit these qualities more and more as we grow in our knowledge of God!

We do not always know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. We walk in faith, knowing that we can trust God in all circumstances!

On this day of remembrance and reflection, we honor those who gave their lives in service to this country. May those who sacrificially paid the cost of our freedom never be forgotten!
