Last night at Bible study was truly AWEsome! 🙌🏽

Sis Keisha Taylor and Sis Erika Perry tag-teamed the youth, and what happened next was powerful. By the time the night was over, these young people were quoting scriptures and sharing real-life examples of how they KNOW God is real. Sis Erika, I am so godly proud of you for allowing God to use your testimony to empower the next generation. You refuse to allow any past failures or disappointment to keep you silent. 🙌🏽

Moments like this remind us that our youth are full of purpose, promise, and potential. Some people may look at them and give up, but we choose to believe in them, pray for them, and pour into them. And last night, we witnessed God moving in a mighty way. Hearts were opened, and seeds were planted that will continue to grow.

So grateful for the people God is sending to Salters who love our youth and for our young people. God is still working, and our youth are proof! ✨

This picture was found at Salters Chapel. I reached out to the person I deem to be one of the greatest historians of my generation for Dyersburg, TN, DrRoyce B. Smith. He informed me that this is a picture of Mr Forrest and Mrs Mattie Hudson. Mrs Mattie was a beloved member of the Dyer County Choir. They were huge supporters of Salters Chapel in their lifetime.

The picture is stuck to the broken glass. Otherwise, it would have been a nicer image.

Big shout out to my auntie, Glenda Green, and Tapp'd for blessing our youth with 250 hot wings, banana pudding, homemade Ranch dressing, etc! The kids ate until they couldn't eat any more! And one kid's dog was blessed with the leftover bones. Lol
