We’re live with the final message in our Unity series from Pastor Nick: War in the Heart.

True unity isn’t just about what happens around us—it starts with what’s happening within us. This message challenges us to let God search our hearts, address the things that divide us from Him and others, and walk in the freedom and unity He desires for His people.

Whether you’re joining us live or watching later, we’re so glad you’re here. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and lean into what God may be speaking to you today.

Pentecost Sunday 🕊️

There’s something powerful about making room for the presence of God. This weekend reminded us that when the Holy Spirit moves, lives are changed, hearts are awakened, and anything can happen. The same Spirit poured out in the upper room is still moving today, bringing freedom, peace, boldness, healing, and revival.

“We make room for You to do whatever You want to.”

We don’t just want moments in His presence. We want lives marked by it. Expectant for more of Jesus. More of His Spirit. More of heaven in our everyday lives. 🔥

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice was not small, and their legacy is not forgotten.

We also lift up the families, friends, and loved ones who carry both the pride and the weight of that sacrifice. We are praying for comfort, peace, and strength today.

As a church, we choose to remember with gratitude, to honor with humility, and to never take for granted the freedoms that were paid for by so many.

“Honor to those who deserve honor.” Romans 13:7

From all of us at The River Church, thank you to every military family and to those who have carried the cost of service. Today, we remember. 🇺🇸

We’re live with Week 2 of our Unity series from Pastor Nick: The Honor of Considering Others.

Through Philippians, Corinthians, Romans, and James, this message reminds us that the Church was never meant to be built around pride, comparison, favoritism, or personal recognition—but around humility, gratitude, unity, and honoring one another in Christ.

Pastor Nick shares how every believer has a unique role in the body of Christ, and how true Christian community grows when we stop competing for importance and begin valuing others above ourselves. Unity is not built through uniformity, but through surrender, humility, and love working together under Jesus.

As followers of Christ, we are called to protect the unity and mission of His Church by walking in gratitude, serving faithfully, and considering others with the same love and grace God has shown us.

Whether you’re joining us live or watching later, we’re so glad you’re here. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and lean into what God may be speaking to you today.

God’s dream for His Church is not shallow community.
It is a family knit together by strong ties of love.

In Colossians, Paul’s heart was burdened for believers he had not even met yet. He wanted them encouraged, protected, confident in Christ, and rooted in the full message of Jesus.

That is the kind of Church God desires.

A Church that carries responsibility.
A Church that proclaims the whole message of Christ.
A Church that prioritizes people being right with Jesus.
A Church that loves with their whole heart, soul, mind, and strength.
A Church that protects one another.
A Church that walks in reverence for God and love for His bride.

If Paul’s heart hurt for those he had never met, how much more should our hearts be moved for the people right in front of us?

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:35

We’re live with today’s message from Pastor Nick: God’s Dream For His Church.

Through Colossians 1–2, Pastor Nick shares God’s vision and desire for His Church—what it looks like to truly reflect the heart of Christ in the way we live, love, and walk together as His people.

This message explores the call to proclaim the full message of Jesus, remain rooted in love, prioritize others, walk in reverence toward God, and stay united as one family in Him. As believers, we are called to live confidently in Christ while protecting the unity and mission of His Church through love, truth, and obedience.

Whether you’re joining us live or watching later, we’re so glad you’re here. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and lean into what God may be speaking to you today.

There are people who pass through a church.
And then there are people who help build it.

For over 25 years, Matt & Jo Lee have faithfully poured into this house through worship ministry, youth ministry, children’s ministry, friendship, leadership, prayer, and simply loving people well. Their lives have carried the kind of quiet obedience that leaves lasting impact across generations.

This Sunday, we had the honor of praying over them and releasing them into a new season with the Great Commission Alliance.

And while there is sadness in letting go of people you deeply love, there is also so much joy in seeing people fully surrender to the call of God on their lives.

As Pastor Mark shared, Romans 12 reminds us that when we lay our lives down before the Lord as living sacrifices, we begin to walk in and recognize His good, pleasing, and perfect will.

That is what this moment was about.
Not just transition.
Not just moving.
But obedience.

We don’t send them out with heaviness. We send them with blessing, honor, gratitude, and expectation for all God is going to continue doing through them.

Matt & Jo, thank you for your faithfulness to Jesus and to this house. Thank you for saying “yes” to the Lord again and again through every season.

You will always be family here. 💙

This Sunday was such a beautiful picture of church family.

Child dedication is more than a moment on stage. It’s families saying, “Lord, these children belong to You,” and the Church saying, “We’re with you.”

We get to pray, encourage, equip, and come alongside the next generation as they grow to know and follow Jesus. That’s the beauty of the Church. We don’t walk alone. We grow together, sharpen one another, and keep pointing each other back to the Lord.

We’re so thankful for every family, every child, and every person who helps make this house feel like home.

“The righteous who walks in his integrity, blessed are his children after him!” Proverbs 20:7
