So much truth here. We have a choice: to be swayed by the fear and separation happening as the old paradigm is crumbling or to participate in creating a world that works for for all people based on love, respect and justice.

Wherever you find yourself in your spiritual practice – on fire or lukewarm – take heart and begin again. Each sitting, each prayer is unique every single day. Take responsibility for creating enough variety and spontaneity in your communion with Spirit, the Divine Beloved of your soul, for just as in any relationship we treasure, this causes enthusiasm to rekindle and joy to bubble up in our consciousness. This is what I have learned through walking the path and I offer it to you with love and appreciation as a fellow spiritual traveler.

Real thinking is inspiration. The Japanese have a word for thinking—kamkura, which means to return to the realm of God. That’s real thinking.

As we begin to practice affirmative prayer, meditation, study and fellowship, the inspired thoughts of God can begin to think themselves through us. Those are affirmative, life-giving, life-enhancing, constructive, creative, beautifying thoughts.

This practice allows us to get in touch with our real nature, which is life, which is the life of God, and now the thoughts that begin to emerge from that contact are life-giving and affirmative, beautifying and constructive. Our life then progresses, it evolves.

When we have breakthroughs we move back and forth between prayer and praise. They intermingle and we realize we aren’t asking for anything but accepting all the gifts of Spirit that have already been given. We’re ready to be audacious in our acceptance of them because we’ve touched our true nature within. Everywhere you look you see the work of Spirit taking place. Praise bursts out from your heart and even your very breath becomes a prayer of inhaling divine energy and exhaling gratitude for your life. Life is seen as beautiful, all beings are beautiful.
