Telling the Story of Worship - Sunday, September 6 at 9:15am
With Interim Priest, Fr. Dean Taylor

In the coming Interim year, St. Patrick’s will be searching for a new Rector. Of all the elements of the priestly vocation, there is none more important than the area of worship.

In the call of that person, it will be important not only to discern that person’s gifts and talents, and that person’s approach to worship, but also to know about ourselves, about the worship of this particular parish of St. Patrick’s. How is our worship today a continuation of the earliest Hebrew traditions of our Jewish and Christian ancestors? Why do we worship the way we do?

Join us on September 6 at 9:15 as Fr. Dean helps us prepare for this important discernment by “telling the story” of worship itself, from the earliest Hebrew roots to this week’s liturgy.
