Keep this family in your prayers as well as their prayer request for their SJ family🩷

So a bit of an update on Bubs.

Not really much to update. We saw wound care today, they saw the pictures of what it looked like Saturday and said it looks SIGNIFICANTLY better and it was definitely on its way to infection. He did need blood and platelets Sunday, but today his hemoglobin is at 10.4 🥳 his platelets were at 63 though. They were going to try and get us in tonight for round 13, but he didn't meet the perimeter with his platelets, so we're gonna try again on Thursday.

He's been very active today, which is great to watch, exhausting to keep up with, but I'm so thankful for. He's sad but also happy, he's made a friend here and his older brother is the patient, and they found out today they get to go home. So Andryk is bummed that his friend is leaving, but he's also so happy that they're leaving.

He keeps telling me that he's ready to be back home, he's ready to see the mountains again. So, if anyone has any pretty pictures of the mountains back home, please send em my way.

He's got one appointment tomorrow and it's only the STEM lab (for school), so I think we may try to venture to the museum of science again. He was given the option today that he could either have a summer break and start it this Friday or he can keep going to his classes there and to our surprise he wanted to stay going to classes. The deal was though, she had to keep reading him the Percy Jackson stories, so she agreed.

Well, I guess it's time to crash. If y'all don't mind, say a little extra prayer for my SJ family (I won't mention their names), but we all need the extra prayers right now.

Thankful to those that served and laid down their life for our freedoms that we take for granted every day.
Prayers for the families of fallen soldiers and prayers to the soldiers that continue to serve our country.
