In his letter to the Romans, St. Paul encourages fellow Christians to uphold steady prayer, “Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer.” As we continue to move forward with the Journey in Faith initiative, prayer serves as our foundation. Prayer for the people of God, especially parish staff members, and those who bear the yoke of leadership.

Having a set day of communal prayer will strengthen our bonds as an Archdiocesan community. Lifting up our souls, hearts and minds simultaneously surely will rise as a pleasing offering before God.⁣ This Wednesday, we will share a communal prayer to offer up for Journey in Faith.

Seven Sisters Apostolate
We all need prayer. Our priests need prayer too! A women's prayer group at St. Anthony parish offers prayers for our Pastor, Fr. Michael Schueller. They are part of Seven Sisters Apostolate, an international ministry! They are a small group of seven women, each taking one day of the week and dedicating just 1 holy hour of prayer for our pastor.
