Why did the Messiah have to die a bloody death? This question stumbled the Jews and seemed foolish to the Gentiles. Yet it remains the cornerstone of our faith.

This week we explored Hebrews 9:15-22, discovering that Christ's death wasn't just necessary—it was the ONLY way. He died to function as our mediator, providing payment for our transgressions and securing the promise of eternal inheritance. Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin.

God doesn't demand blind faith. He graciously addresses our objections and leads us to reasonable faith. The cross wasn't Plan B—it was God's perfect provision. Christ's blood accomplished what centuries of sacrifices could never do: once-for-all redemption.

Are you convinced? Will you trust in Jesus' bloody death and victorious resurrection alone for your salvation? God offers this gift freely today. Faith is simply the hand that reaches out to receive that gift."
