Joy Mayhew gives her testimony this Sunday.

This is Joy Mayhew '75. She will give her testimony this Sunday at Fairwood Bible Chapel (services begin at 10:30 a.m.). At dinner tonight with Terry Hazen '24 and You-Young Kim '19, she gave an abridged yet delightful and edifying preview. While she attended church all her life, it took some time before Christianity became more than a rote set of rules to follow. During a pivotal season, she found herself angry with God. As a result of the transformative journey that transpired, her anger and perfunctory religion were replaced by awe at God's inexhaustible greatness and an active and living relationship with Jesus.

She told us, "I have so much joy now that I didn't have before... sometimes it feels like I'm going to burst!"

Catch her God-given radiance this Sunday.

**JUST ADDED** Youth Day has been incorporated into the Feast. Youth Day is for grades 6-12, and will feature sports, games, and other activities. It will take place on Saturday, September 30, starting after Brunch and continuing with a message on courage by Fairwood Bible Institute alumnus, Caleb Holscher. There will also be some youth activities the day before and the day after.
