Celebrate Recovery - SMCC Draper, Utah

Celebrate Recovery - SMCC Draper, Utah Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits.

It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. 20 years ago, Saddleback Church launched Celebrate Recovery with 43 people. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery has helped more than 17000 people at Saddleback, attracting over 7

0% of its members from outside the church. Eighty-five percent of the people who go through the program stay with the church and nearly half serve as church volunteers. Celebrate Recovery is now in over 19,000 churches worldwide!

Forgiveness does not erase accountability or pretend the wound did not matter. It releases the offender’s power to keep shaping our inner life through bitterness.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32

Join us TONIGHT for our monthly Potluck and full chip ceremony!

Bring something to share for the Potluck dinner if you are able to, and come enjoy food and fellowship!
Dinner starts at 6pm and our live worship band will take the stage at 6:30pm.

We will be celebrating our full chip ceremony! If you have a monthly or yearly anniversary, we have a chip for you!!

Once we close our large group meeting, we will be breaking off into our gender specific/issue specific small groups. We encourage you to join one of these circles where we find freedom through sharing our hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe and judgement free environment.

We look forward to seeing you!

Healing gives us the freedom to respond from love rather than reenact the pain that formed us. With God’s help, what wounded us does not have to become what we give away.

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” — Romans 12:21

Please join us this Tuesday, July 7th at 6:30pm as our very own, Jenny Glenn shares her testimony.

In Jenny’s own words: “What once felt like being a prisoner, locked in chains of secret sin, has now become my battle cry of freedom. The stories I used to hide in shame, are now bringing hope to others. Where there was once silence, now there is wisdom. Shame has NO hold on me.”

Isaiah 54:4 tells us, "Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated."

This is a special testimony that you won’t want to miss, and we encourage you to invite a friend or TWO!

Most of us have experienced moments when life didn't go according to plan. A door closed. An opportunity disappeared. A prayer seemed unanswered. And in those moments, it's easy to believe the story is headed in the wrong direction. But sometimes what feels like a setback is actually a detour toward something better. God sees the roads we cannot see. The connections we haven't made. The lessons we haven't learned. The blessings we aren't ready for yet. 🙏

What looks like a closed road today may be protecting you, preparing you, or redirecting you toward a destination you never would have found on your own. When life doesn't make sense, trust the Author more than the chapter. The story isn't finished yet. If you'd like more faith-filled encouragement throughout the week, you can sign up for our free weekly devotional and explore our worship playlists through the link in our bio. We'd love to walk alongside you on your journey with God. ♥️
