As we Pray, Prepare, Participate, Partner, Provide, Propel, and Praise, we serve together. The Great Commission calls us to share the gospel with everyone across Idaho and Utah, to start new churches, and to strengthen all our churches to His glory.

The Utah-Idaho SBC State Missions Offering funds collegiate ministries, disaster relief, women's ministries, Salt Lake School of Theology, and ministry networks across Utah and Idaho.

New life is breaking through in Provo. 🙌

We’re celebrating with Mosaic Church, a Send Network church plant in Provo, Utah, as Angel, Lucius and Ben publicly declared their new life in Christ through baptism!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

For years, David has prayed, served and shared the gospel in a city where the vast majority of people have little connection to evangelical Christianity. Provo is at the heart of Utah’s Mormon culture, yet God is building His church right in the middle of it.

And now, we get to celebrate the evidence of His work: three people who have found new life in Christ alone.

Mosaic exists to make Jesus known in Provo and to the ends of the earth.

We’re praising God for every person who is taking those steps toward Jesus. 🙌

Please remember Pastor Dan Coburn and family as they remember sweet Miss Karon. She passed away August 27, 2026. She's in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Services are September 4, 2026 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Cottonwood, ID.

Early Thursday morning, Pastor Dan Coburn’s wife, Karon, went home to be with the Lord. Karon had suffered from a long-term health challenge and is now healed in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus. Please be praying for Pastor Dan and family as they grieve and celebrate such a godly wife, mom, and pastor’s wife. Please allow Dan and family some time to grieve in peace.

Pray for Emmanuel Baptist Church, Cottonwood, ID as they minister to the Coburns. Dan and Karon are long-time members in the Whispering Pines Baptist Association, first at Elk City Baptist Church and currently at Emmanuel BC where Dan serves as pastor.

Please pray for Dallas and JoEllen Claypool for Dallas’ health. Dallas is pastor at Sand Hollow Baptist Church, in Caldwell, ID. The following comments are from messages we’ve received from JoEllen.

“I mainly wanted you to know what is going on so you and your prayer warriors could pray healing for Dallas, for his doctors as they make decisions, for our family as we walk through this, and to strengthen our church family in this season. We know God is in control, and we are trusting Him one step at a time and know the words of prayer warriors will carry us through. He is still good, and He is still faithful! Psalm 73:28 says, "God's presence is my good. You have been my refuge and I will tell about all that You have done." This is another opportunity to glorify Him.

Our church has been such a blessing and is covering the pulpit while Dallas is unable to be there. We are incredibly grateful for that. The Soldiers of the Cross, a motorcycle ministry that Dallas is involved in, have been very attentive to his needs and mine and have come to pray over him. We are surrounded.

The doctors have all told him he has a long journey ahead, but he is ready to fight. The doctor said things went well with his surgery on Thursday, and she was able to get the whole tumor out. It was sent to pathology and that will determine the next steps as they have talked about six months of chemo. We have been super happy with the care we have gotten here and have had chances to nurture relationships.

One of the men from his Soldiers of the Cross motorcycle ministry came to pray over him and brought another soldier into the room after finding out that his wife was right around the corner from us having the same surgery as Dallas. The husband is a believer, but the wife is not. Dallas right away asked if she would be opposed to us praying over her. The man asked her permission and excitedly told us she agreed. The four of us went to her room and Dallas shared the Gospel and we all prayed. The day after her surgery we did it again. She was receptive and I have been texting her. It makes you almost wonder if this happened to Dallas for such a time as this, to make sure 'R' knows she is loved. Nonetheless it does fall under making the most out of every opportunity, which my husband seems to do well.”

Congratulations to Adam Mallette and our western neighbors as Nevada Baptists elect their next Executive Director/Treasurer. Please pray for them and King's Church in Las Vegas as he leaves their pastorate to fill this important role with the convention.
