Holy Attention. A call to seek God in the day-to-day, the God who redeems from our fallenness, who makes all things, AND also the God who is present in our families, in our friendships, in our conversations, and in the places where he calls us to serve and shine His light. Seek Him in each day in Holy Attention.

We are praying that each of you have a wonderful week. A few midweek reminders...

1) This Saturday we will have volunteers at the Community Baby Shower with others from the Stewart Co. Community. If you would like to help serve, please contact Pastor Kara.

2) VBS begins on Tuesday, June 16th. We are looking forward to sharing the message of hope and Christ's redeeming love with our students and invite all those Pre-K thru 5th to join us for an amazing week. June 16 - 19 5 - 7:30p nightly.

3) Pray for our Middle Schoolers at Camp this week.

4) We continue our series on Holy Attention this Sunday in 2 Kings 4: 8 - 37 and look at how even the best of us are still in need of the grace of God. We hope to see you on Sunday.

Christ is Risen!!!

"Re" as a suffix is a powerful reminder. Again. Redeemed. Renewed. Revival. Reconcile. Each of these are a call to come back to what was once there. You have been created for God and His goodness. Sin has marred that, but His grace is calling you home, to redemption and renewal; to become what he created you to be.

This has been a great week so far for our teens at camp, continue to lift them up in prayer.

A few midweek reminders...

1) This Saturday is service day. We will be meeting at the church at 9a and then headed out for our service project. Bring ladders, buckets, work gloves and a smile. We will wrap up around 2:30p and lunch is provided.

2) June 12th is the Sunday Funday at the Sounds. Please let Pastor or Ben know if you have not yet received your Tickets.

3) June 7 at 6p is game night and we will have Trivia night. Come join us!!!

I wish I had the art skills I see in others. To sit down and draw/paint images they’ve seen elsewhere with such life and precision is truly a gift. Those images have to be committed to memory. But when you can’t draw from memory: trace. This was my best bet for good art. Lean into the original. Trace the life of Jesus.
