Let us remember:
Yesterday was “D-Day”, June 6th, 1944, which ultimately led to the defeat of Hi**er.
It was the beginning of the end to his tyranny and the genocide of the Jews.

156,000 Allied troops landed on the first day
~7,000+ ships
~11,000 aircraft

Estimated number of Allied soldiers killed, wounded, missing: ~10,000

Let us be ever so grateful for those who laid down their young lives!

These are indeed mind boggling numbers… a stark reminder of the severity of the struggle and a cause worth sacrificing for.

Especially when my own father in Germany had been drafted at age 16 in 1943 to load anti aircraft cannons for the Germans.

My Dad always talked about how terrible it was, how their lives were counted for nothing but cannon fodder.

I will never forget… my Dad has passed, but the memories of him telling us will never fade.

Many Americans seem to have no concept of what a tyrannical government actually is.

They have never experienced it. They are foolish to think Trump is a king! … foolish to think Iran was no threat…

Being in a free country and forgetting the hardships of those who went before can be detrimental and cloud the discernment.

Jeremiah 6:16 NKJV — Thus says the LORD: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

We do well if we remember.
Those who went before can teach us so much.

President Trump urges California voters:

“Today, California goes to vote for their next Governor.
Vote RED”.

Yes, let's end the Democratic misery in California!

Government is defined as, "The body with the power to make and/or enforce laws to control a country, land area, people or organization."

For all those Christians who think voting is some sort of sin, because it's “not mentioned in the Bible”... well, did you know government rule was established by God before sin came into the world?

The first place where we see God’s governing rule is in Heaven with God as supreme just and righteous Ruler.

Christians are called to be salt and light. It is our moral obligation to cast our vote against state sponsored mutilation of minors, transgenderism, against the murder of the unborn and the destruction of the traditional family.

Wake up!

And pray for an awakening in our nation 🙏

James Talarico is a full blown heretic and all who think he represents Jesus Christ are deceived! He rejects Scripture for his failed progressive marxist platform. He has made his own god in his own image and Christians MUST oppose him!

If there was a “top ten” for modern day heretics, James Talarico should certainly be in it. He has successfully used his platform - and people's ignorance - to promote falsehoods.

Talarico is a professional Scripture twister who can give an unlearned listener the idea that sound doctrine and traditional Christian values are mere assumptions.

These are some of his phrases that spread quickly on social media:

● “Not once in the entire Bible does Jesus ask us to worship him. All he asks is that we follow him ...”

● "God is nonbinary”

Talarico is openly pro-choice and supports legal abortion rights. He has said:

● "Jesus never talks about abortion. The Bible is silent on abortion."

Talarico supports same-sex marriage and LGBTQ inclusion within Christianity. He has argued that the Bible does not directly address modern same-sex marriage as a political issue and has aligned himself with affirming interpretations of Christianity.

It should come as no surprise that James Talarico went to a Presbyterian seminariary, and is a Democrat… the party opposing Christian values right from the start, and even more so as we see time going on.

In short, James Talarico does away with the foundation of Christianity, namely the deity of Christ, the sanctity of life and marriage.
Without those beliefs Christianity isn't Christianity anymore.

Not only is today Memorial Sunday, simultaneously it's also the Day of Pentecost.

Pentecost marks the birth of the New Testament church.
It was on a SUNDAY… not a Sabbath, as a side note for all those who think church ought to be held on the Sabbath.

The disciples waited for the Holy Spirit.

Right from the beginning the Bible mentions the Holy Spirit.

In Genesis 1:2, the Spirit of God is moving on the face of the waters, essential in creation.

In Genesis 2:7, it is the Spirit of God as the breath of God, blowing life into the newly created man.

In Ezekiel 37:9-10, it is the Spirit of God as the breath/wind of God, moving over the dry bones of Israel bringing them life and strength.

How we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

This coming and filling of the Holy Spirit was so good, that Jesus actually said that it was better for Him to leave the earth bodily so He could send the Holy Spirit (John 16:7).

Notice, those praying in tongues were speaking “the wonderful works of God” (vs 11), they didn't preach.

Here we see the importance of biblical preaching.

Romans 10:14 NKJV — How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

In the midst of this great outpouring of the Holy Spirit, among signs and wonders and speaking in tongues, what did Peter do?

He stood up to preach.
His sermon didn’t start out with some jokes to get the crowd's attention… or a personal story to sound relevant…
Essentially, he said, “Let’s have a Bible study. Let’s look at what the prophet Joel wrote.”

This introduces the first of three Old Testament passages Peter will quote: Joel 2:28-32, Psalm 16:8-11, and Psalm 110:1.

How important is it to focus on God’s Word during the moving of the Holy Spirit; it fulfilled what the Holy Spirit wanted to do.

Unfortunately, some people set the Word against the Spirit. They almost think it’s more spiritual if there is no Bible study. That is a grave error, as we desperately need both.

Jesus said:
John 4:24 NKJV — “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Today, let's not forget those important things.

There are unfortunately many Christians who believe that modern day Israel is the synagogue of Satan.

They got this idea from Revelation 3:9,
“those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan…”

It needs to be pointed out that the text gives no indication it is talking about a future government established nearly two millennia later.

Applying this single verse to all Jews or to Israel as a state is an error on more than one level:

First off, modern Israel is a political state founded in 1948.
It has a secular government and doesn't meet the criteria of a synagogue:
“Synagogue: an assembly of Jews formally gathered together to offer prayer and listen to the reading and exposition of the Holy Scriptures.”
Nope - that's not a match!

Secondly, any teaching must never be hinged on one single verse. But this is exactly the case here, those who make the claim of modern Israel being the synagogue of Satan have NO other passages in the Bible to back up their claim!

Thirdly, and most importantly,
“Those who say they are Jews and are not” is THEOLOGICAL, not ETHNIC.

Anyone somewhat familiar with the Bible should know that there's a lot of passages in the New Testament explaining that bloodline isn't what matters, but faith does.

For example, Jesus told the Pharisees that bloodline was no guarantee of entering eternal life:

Matthew 3:9 NKJV — “and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

Paul is very clear:
Romans 2:28 — For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh;
29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

Therefore using Revelation 3:9 as a blanket condemnation of Jews or modern Israelis goes beyond the text and has often fueled antisemitism.

Today, Sunday May 17th, President Trump has announced a national day of prayer.

A call to rededicate America back to God.
This is a bold and powerful moment.

Just as the founding fathers did, Trump is acknowledging that our freedom, privileges and purpose were never meant to come from man's ability and wisdom, but from God.

Above every government, every party, and every movement... there is a much higher authority.

"Blessed is the nation whose GOD is the LORD... "
Psalm 33:12
