A good word, be intentional with the time that you have!
A recent survey showed that families only spend an average of 37 minutes together a day. We don't know about you but that number made our jaw drop. But then we started to think about all the time spent at work, school, sports practices, dance classes, cooking, cleaning, sleeping. . . and now we're not so surprised.
BUT that doesn't mean we can't make the most of the moments we have. So as you’re thinking through your daily allotment of family time, here are a few cues to keep in mind:
Don't try looking for more time, try looking to spend the time you have more purposefully.
You don’t need a solid 37 minutes to connect. Sometimes a focused five or ten minutes here and there throughout the course of the day is all you need.
Your kids long to be seen, heard, and enjoyed. That doesn't take much time, but it does require intention.
