Risen Church will open our basement for shelter at about 9:20-30. Please look at our other post from earlier this afternoon and read our revised rules before you come. Our new insurance requires some changes to our policies and we very respectfully ask that everyone abide by them for all of our sakes. God Bless Stay safe.

Good Afternoon. With the threat of potential severe weather this afternoon and evening, I wanted to update our community on our potential shelter status. We are and will be watching the weather closely. If there is a tornado warning for our eminent area around Dexter we will open the Church basement for shelter. We will make the announcement here on our page. We are glad to be able to serve our community, but due to the number of times that we needed to open last year and circumstances that arose, we are implementing new rules this year so please read below. 1. If you are coming for shelter, we ask that you remain in the basement during the time you are here. (too many people on the porch) 2. For liability reasons, pets are not allowed inside the church except documented service animals 3. Children must be accompanied by parents at all times, and parents should bring items to keep children occupied. 4. Please don't enter any rooms where doors are closed without permission. 5. Please be respectful of everyone else. 6. Make sure you leave with everything you came with. We are praying for the safety of our community and all of our neighboring communities. God bless! be safe.

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas (Peter), then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep (died). After that He was ween by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also..........
