What a beautiful day together. ☀️

Today, our Hope Community Church family gathered for worship and then enjoyed an incredible afternoon at Pingree Park.

Kids picked out books at Birdie’s Book Nest, families shared burgers and hot dogs, laughter filled the park as children played together, and the ice cream truck was the perfect ending to a day full of joy.

Most of all, we were reminded that church is more than a service—it’s a family.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, brought food, helped set up and clean up, and simply showed up to be part of our community.

Nothing but sunshine and a beautiful community of faith.

This Sunday was special.

We had the privilege of welcoming Portage Lake Director Mark Eix from our denomination to share about the life-changing impact of camp for our youth and families.

We also celebrated one of our high school students, Terrance, who shared that he will be attending the University of Michigan on a full-ride academic scholarship while continuing to run cross country. Congratulations, Terrance!

We were equally blessed to hear from one of our Hope Kids students, Cecilia, as she shared about her experience at Portage Lake camp. Way to go, Cecilia!

And to close the morning, Pastor Tim Strabbing brought an exceptional message that led into a beautiful time of sharing within the community, ultimately ending together in worship.

From our children, to our youth, to our adult community… this Sunday was special.
