Our Trunk or Treat on Sunday evening was huge and absolutely fabulous! We set a goal of 49,000 pieces of candy and the response was overwhelming! Thank you for each bag, box, and piece of candy that you brought our way! Thank you for signing up to decorate trunks, hand out prize ribbons, refill candy, set up, clean up and beyond! We had the perfect amount of candy and even had some extra to share with the students at the Denton Wesley! Way to go, Friends! 🎃

✨ Volunteer Spotlight: Alyssa Ross ✨

Alyssa leads in so many ways! Every Sunday, you can find her in the sound booth during our Open service, making sure our slides run smoothly and supporting our A/V team! Alyssa also co-leads our Glow LGBTQIA+ group and Pub Theology, and serves on our Building Committee! She’s also an excellent musician and always plays in our All-of-a-Sudden Orchestras. Alyssa shows up in more ways that we could count and is such a valued member of our community. Thank you Alyssa for all that you do!

Celebrate Halloween at FUMC Denton’s annual Trunk or Treat rain or shine! This free community event will feature games, bounce houses, decorated trunks, and plenty of candy. All are invited to take part in the fun! As part of our tradition, we’ll also “Share the Harvest” by collecting non-perishable food items. This year, all canned goods will be donated to Rivera Elementary for their Thanksgiving week, alongside turkeys sponsored by our Missions Team.
