FUMC Denton Youth

We are the Youth and Families ministry of First United Methodist Church of Denton. FUMC Denton Youth currently meet over Zoom on Wednesday and Sunday evenings.

The youth ministry of First United Methodist Church of Denton is a group committed to including all people; sharing God's love; learning, worshiping, praying, singing, and playing together; and reaching out to those who are in need.

Fall kickoff for youth group was a blast tonight! We had an Olive Garden Buffet, talked about the upcoming semester and had a parent vs student volleyball game! We hope to see everyone next week!

The youth leadership team drove around Denton today delivering pizzas to all the incoming 6th graders! We are so excited for them to join us!

Fall Retreat is going to be soo much fun this year! There will ziplines, ropes courses, swimming in lakes, strawberry s’mores and so much more! You can find the link in the bio or comments. 6th-12th graders are invited!

Join your church family for one last splash before summer winds down! Bring the whole family for an afternoon of water slides, water balloon fights, and water-themed fun! You are welcome to bring water guns if you have them. We’ll have a (dry, non-water) bounce house made just for our littlest ones. Cool off with popsicles and snow cones, refuel with hot dogs, and enjoy games and fun for kids and youth—but everyone is welcome!
Prefer to stay dry? Hang out in the gym for board games and indoor activities.
