Cason Church We believe faith is more than something we talk about on Sunday. It’s something we live. What Do We Stand For?

It calls us beyond ourselves to love our neighbors, serve our community, stand with those who are hurting, and become part of what God is doing in the world. We are a congregation in south Palm Beach County that values equally being…
Christ Centered
Community Focused
energetic
forward thinking
building positive, growing relationships with God and others where worshippers are encouraged to live joy-filled lives through Jesus Christ.

STEPS: One Day at a Time - Finding Freedom in Daily Surrender

Sometimes, we think freedom means having everything under control. But what if true freedom begins when we stop trying to control everything and start trusting God? ❤️

Surrender isn’t giving up. It’s letting go of the need to have all the answers, to fix everything ourselves, or to know exactly what tomorrow will bring. It’s choosing to place our worries, struggles, and plans in God’s hands, one day at a time.

That doesn’t mean we’ll never struggle with old habits, fear, or uncertainty. It means we don’t have to face them alone. Every day offers a new opportunity to release what we cannot control and take the next faithful step forward.

We find freedom not by holding tighter, but by learning to trust deeper. 🙌

Watch this week’s Sunday Snippet and reflect: What am I holding onto that I need to surrender to God today?

STEPS: One Day at a Time - Knowing vs. Living: The Gap Between Understanding and Obedience

Sometimes, the hardest part of faith isn’t knowing what God asks of us. It’s actually living it out. ❤️

We can know the right words, understand the lessons, and recognize what needs to change - but knowledge alone doesn’t transform us. Growth happens when we put our faith into action, one choice, one moment, and one day at a time.

Obedience isn’t about being perfect or having everything figured out. It’s about trusting God enough to take the next step, even when it’s uncomfortable, inconvenient, or different from what we would choose on our own.

Faith moves beyond what we know when we begin to live what we believe. And with God’s grace, we don’t have to do it all at once. We just have to be willing to take the next step today. 🙌

Watch this week’s Sunday Snippet and reflect: What’s one thing I know God is asking of me that I can begin putting into practice today?

STEPS: Grace Makes Things Right - Two Questions That Lead to Amends

Making things right starts with being willing to look honestly at our actions and the impact they’ve had on others. ❤️

As we walk the path of recovery and faith, two important questions can guide us: Who have I hurt, and what can I do to help make things right?

These questions aren’t always easy to answer. They require humility, honesty, and the courage to move beyond guilt into meaningful action. Making amends isn’t about changing the past or controlling someone else’s response. It’s about taking responsibility for our part and allowing God’s grace to guide us toward healing.

We can’t undo yesterday, but with God’s help, we can choose a different way forward. 🙏

Grace gives us the courage to face the past and the hope to make things right.

Watch this week’s Sunday Snippet and reflect: Who might God be calling me to make things right with, and what is one step I can take?

Celebrating Pastor David During Pastor Appreciation Month 💙🙏

A pastor’s impact reaches far beyond Sunday morning. It’s found in the prayers offered, the conversations that bring comfort, the guidance shared during difficult seasons, and the countless ways faith is put into action throughout the community.

This Pastor Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating Pastor David Schmidt and the heart he brings to Cason Church. From leading our congregation in faith to showing up for our neighbors, supporting those who are struggling, and creating space for people to feel seen, valued, and loved, Pastor David reminds us what it means to serve with compassion and purpose.

His leadership helps guide our church, but it’s his caring spirit, willingness to serve, and commitment to walking alongside others that make such a meaningful difference in the lives of so many. ❤️

Pastor David, thank you for the time, energy, prayer, and love you pour into Cason and our Delray Beach community. We are grateful for your leadership, blessed by your ministry, and thankful for the ways you help make Cason a place where everyone is welcome and everyone belongs.

Join us in showing Pastor David some extra love and appreciation this month! Drop a note of thanks or share a favorite memory in the comments. 💬👇

STEPS: Grace Makes Things Right - The Difference Between Apology and Amends

Saying “I’m sorry” matters, but sometimes, healing requires more than words. ❤️

An apology acknowledges the hurt we’ve caused. Making amends means taking responsibility for our actions and, when possible, doing what we can to make things right. It’s not about erasing the past or demanding forgiveness - it’s about showing through our actions that we’re committed to change.

With God’s grace, we can find the courage to face our mistakes, repair what we can, and move forward with humility and love. Real growth happens when our words and actions begin to align. 🙏

Grace doesn’t change what happened, but it can change what happens next.

Watch this week’s Sunday Snippet and reflect: Is there a place in my life where I need to move beyond saying “I’m sorry” and take a step toward making things right?
