WOW! Feeding our community matters, so with The Outreach Project of Nisswa, Salem folk packed 1,170 bags with food to feed 10,260 individuals yesterday... IN AN HOUR! What joy to share in God's work of loving people!

Merciful God, through whose providing care we find strength for all seasons, turn our eyes to your mercy as we face the anniversary of 9/11. Comfort us as we remember, acknowledge and serve; shine your light on those whose companion is sorrow. Teach us as your people to number our days that we might apply our hearts to your wisdom and our lives to the hope-filled future you intend for all; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

We're packing shelf-stable meals this Sunday! Join us after worship (about 10am) as we roll up our sleeves and snap on some gloves to measure, pack, and seal meals for our community. Food will be distributed by Salem West to our neighbors and clients.

As school gets into full swing, we're praying for teachers, paras, admin staff, bus drivers, custodial workers, and ALL who will be an impact on this generation!
Eternal God, bless these schools to be lively places for sound learning, new discovery, the pursuit of wisdom, and the development of character. Give all patience and persistence, gentleness and joy in their work and learning, through Christ we pray!

Every month on the first Thursday, 11:30am-12:30pm, Catholic Charities brings up hundreds of frozen meals to distribute to seniors 60+ in Crow Wing County. We get to hand them out! If you know people in need send them our way!
