We are a joyful community sharing our faith and growing ever closer to God. Wherever you are in your journey, there is a place for you at St. Therese. St. Fr.

During World War II Army Chaplain, Father Mark Otto served his country and his fellow men on the battlefield. While administering the sacraments to the wounded and dying men, he fervently prayed to St. Therese that his life would be spared and that he would come home to Minnesota safely. Therese heard his prayers, and he returned home in 1946, establishing a new parish in Deephaven, MN. Otto chose St. Therese as the patron saint of his parish. Site Code of Conduct:

Did you know that All Hallows' Eve (Halloween) is the start of the Catholic observance called Hallowtide?

Beginning with All Hallows’ Eve, we prepare for All Saints’ Day, when we celebrate the saints and ask for their intercession. Then, on All Souls’ Day, we remember and pray for all the faithful departed.

Together, these days turn our hearts toward the Communion of Saints and the Kingdom of God!
