Last night there was a beautiful encounter with Jesus at 50 Oakdale Avenue. ❤️ The young adult service was filled with spiritual urgency as we heard a word on getting to work — there is an end time harvest! 🌾

We looked at five keys from Gideon’s calling in Judges 6: 🗝️
1. God is looking for ordinary, faithful people in uncertain times: God finds Gideon working
2. What breaks your heart may point to your assignment: Gideon carries a burden for his people
3. God can’t use our excuses: Gideon confronts his inadequacy
4. Consecration means tearing down idols: Gideon tears down the altar of Baal
5. The call must be confirmed: Don’t mistake your desires for God’s direction

Beloved, may we look forward to the coming of the Day of the Lord, and in our diligence be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless, laboring for the Kingdom of God, hearing “well done, good and faithful servant”! 🕊️🌾

At yesterday’s Sunday service, we heard a word on the prophetic life and took holy Communion. 🩸🫓🕊️

The devil attacks the prayer life of every believer for prayer increases our spiritual sensitivity, teaching us to see beyond what is visible. But prayerful intimacy with God produces intercession, and intercession develops discernment, as witnessed in the lives of Anna, Simeon, or Abraham, this learning to recognize God’s timing, carry His burdens, be entrusted with the knowledge of His plans, and standing in the gap while we wait for what He has promised — the truly prophetic life.

Beloved church, may we be challenged to grow in our prayer life, in our commitment even when we do not see visible change as Anna did for all those years, and may we be willing to take on the spiritual responsibility! 🔥

Thank you Jesus, for last night’s young adult Encounter Night. Young people heard a word on Solomon’s prayer of wisdom and asked the Lord for the gift of wisdom and discernment. ❤️‍🔥

At the height of his success, Solomon deemed himself “a little child” and asked the Lord for wisdom to lead His great nation, and in response to his humility and love for the people, God gave it to him, and more.

This generation has entered an age of abundance of information — podcasts, books, teachings, preachings — yet surface-level knowledge is not wisdom: wisdom and discernment is knowing what is good in the Lord’s eyes and actually doing it.

We need wisdom for our lives, our businesses, careers, marriages, families, children, friendships, ministries, end days. Rather than chase our purpose, may we do what Solomon did: humble ourselves, cry out for wisdom as Scripture instructs us to, and live it out, in Godly fear, in service of the Lord. ❤️‍🔥🕊️

Biblical revival looked like the church gathering together, in one Spirit, and the Lord Himself added daily to the saved. What power there is in unity. What glory in simplicity in Christ. ❤️‍🔥

Lord, may we be one, as the Father, Son, and Spirit are one. 🕊️
