Good News Club is not just for churched kids. In fact, some of the children who walk through those after-school doors have never been inside a church. They come for the games and the snacks... and they stay because something about the love in that room is different from anywhere else they have been. That is the Holy Spirit at work. Summer is the most strategic season for reaching children with the Gospel. School is out. Neighborhoods are alive. Kids are outside. That is exactly when CEF Tennessee Valley deploys 5-Day Clubs and CYIA missionaries into the communities of this region. This is a story about a child. She sat in a Good News Club for the first time not knowing why she had been invited. By the end of that hour, she had heard that Jesus died for her, rose again, and loved her personally. She prayed to receive Him that afternoon. At CEF Tennessee Valley, we believe that every child... regardless of their zip code, their school, their family situation, or their background... deserves to hear that Jesus loves them. Deuteronomy 6:7 says, You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Back to school season in the Tennessee Valley means Good News Clubs are starting up again in local schools. Trained volunteer teachers are preparing their lessons. CYIA missionaries are heading back to campus. And children who spent all summer outside are about to walk back through school doors where the Gospel will be waiting for them. Pray for the clubs launching this fall across our valley.

🚀 GOOD NEWS CLUB IS BACK AT ROCK CREEK! 🚀

We are excited to kick off another year of Good News Club at Rock Creek Elementary School beginning Thursday, September 17!

Every Thursday afternoon, students are invited to join us in the cafeteria from 3:00–4:30 PM for an afternoon filled with faith, friendship, and FUN!

Good News Club is a completely FREE, Christ-centered after-school club where kids have the opportunity to learn more about Jesus, build friendships, and discover biblical truths they can carry with them into everyday life.

Each week will include:

📖 Bible lessons
⭐ Exciting stories
🤝 Fellowship with friends
⚽ Games
🎵 Songs
🎁 Prizes
❤️ And plenty of fun!

Last year Good News Club quickly became one of the most popular after-school clubs at Rock Creek, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back and meet some new friends this year!

All Rock Creek Elementary students are invited. There is absolutely no cost to participate!

What does a 5-Day Club look like in real life? Imagine children running into your backyard every morning for five straight days. They learn a new Bible verse. They sing songs about Jesus. They hear a missionary story. And every single day, someone clearly shares the Gospel and gives them the chance to respond. That is 5-Day Club. That is CEF Tennessee Valley at work.
