Dearborn FMC Our Mission: Showing how Jesus' love restores joy and freedom to Metro Detroit. We were never meant to live out our faith on our own.

The Bible teaches that part of having a relationship with God is having a relationship with other Christians. It is difficult if not impossible to have a great relationship with God without the fellowship of other Christians. The very nature of the church is that of a family, the family of God. We are a community of believers, a local congregation committed to loving God, and loving one another. “

And God gave us this command: Those who love God must also love their brothers and sisters. Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is God’s child, and whoever loves the Father also loves the Father’s children.” —I John 4:21-5:2

Great weekend at Dearborn Free Methodist Church!

We had a wonderful gathering of people praying together for the launch of LifeWise Academy Dearborn.

Then on Sunday, we had a beautiful combined service with Calvary Haitian Free Methodist Church of Dearborn. It was a powerful reminder that God is at work across cultures, languages, and congregations, uniting His people in worship and mission.

God is clearly moving in the hearts of people, bringing healing, hope, and renewal to those who are seeking Him.

We are grateful for what He is doing among us!

Every 5th Sunday of the month, Dearborn Free Methodist Church joins together with Calvary Haitian Free Methodist Church of Dearborn for a combined service. Today we are celebrating “A Mighty and Loving God at Work Among Us.”

Zephaniah 3:17 says, “For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” — Zephaniah 3:17, NLT

Our prayer today is that you would know that God is near, that He is mighty to save, and that His love is at work in your life.

Welcome to those of you joining us online today. We’re really glad you’re with us.

Today, we’re looking at Paul’s story in Acts 22 and asking what happens when Jesus interrupts a person’s life. We’re going to see that sometimes the convictions we feel most strongly can still be misdirected, and that Jesus does not simply call us to do something for Him. He calls us to reorient our whole lives around Him and His purposes in the world.

Do you enjoy meeting new families, connecting with parents, and helping create a place where people feel welcomed and valued?
At Dearborn Free Methodist Church, we’re looking for someone who takes initiative, works well with others, and believes ministry is always a team effort. This isn’t a solo role. It’s about building relationships, serving alongside volunteers, and helping families feel like they belong.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who cares deeply about helping families discover the hope and transformation found in Jesus.
