This Sunday, August 16 we welcome back The Rev. MaryJane Plote as Celebrant & Preacher at both the 8am & 10:30am services! Newly ordained in the Diocese of Southern Ohio, Christ Church Dayton was Rev. Plote's "sending church," where she discerned her call to ordained ministry and then followed her next steps to seminary.

👷🚙 It may not be the most glamorous project, but construction has officially begun on major repairs to our parking lot! These exciting improvements are sure to enhance visitor first-impressions and parishioner experience at Christ Church heading into the new program year! Stay tuned for more updates

And as a reminder:
-Christ Church parking lot will be closed to all traffic during this project, tentatively scheduled to conclude the first week of September.

-Parking for Sunday worship is available for free in the lot at First Baptist Church on Monument Ave, just one block north of Christ Church (see map below).

-Street Parking is free on Sunday mornings and weekends. Those with mobility challenges are still welcome to park on the street in front of the church for worship on Sunday mornings.

"Foyer" meaning “hearthside” — implies the warmth of a close, small group of friends sharing a common love and concern for each other. Foyer Groups at Christ Church have been gathering since 1975! They're small groups that meet monthly, taking turns to host one another for a meal in their home.

Meeting September-May, Foyer Groups are a great way to form deeper relationships and grow in faith with one another.
