Roots of Life Ministry To achieve our mission we:

Offer quality education in an environment conducive to learning, and work to improve accessibility to this quality education.

Roots of Life Ministry aims to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of deprived children and widows by creating hope, and assisting them in building a better future. Provide basic services like shelter, food and clothing. Enable widows, the disabled, and youth in need to become self-dependent and self-reliant by teaching them elementary life skills. Assist financially as appropriate

, those affected by the war, with limited immediate needs. Form parent councils in selected communities to participate in assessing, planning implementing, monitoring and evaluating the education programs. Orient community leaders, women groups, teachers, youth groups, medical personnel and relevant government groups on child rights and protection. Sensitize the community to the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases including AIDS/HIV. Lobby and advocate for the demobilization of children associated with fighting forces, and the provision of psychosocial support for those children affected by the conflict. Seek to better balance the ratio of girls to boys enrolled in primary school activities. Train teachers in alternative methods to corporal punishment.
