What if the ultimate goal of the church isn't our comfort, but our sending?
We are only two months into this journey as True Vine Church, but from the very beginning, God’s design for the local church has never been to stay in one place. Just like parents train their children to grow, mature, and eventually launch into the world, God equips us not to hold on tightly, but to send.
This past Sunday, we studied Acts 13:1–3 and looked at a heavy but beautiful conviction: God calls us to be a launching pad for the Gospel. Whether that means impacting our local community deeply or sending qualified leaders to plant churches internationally, we are called to action. As John Piper famously said, when it comes to global mission, you are either a goer, a sender, or disobedient.
Are you willing to do things that scare you and sacrifice comfort for the mission of God?
We encourage you to lean into this message and revisit these truths throughout your week!
