God has given you something that He can use to make a difference in someone's life. Are you using it?

This Sunday we're starting a new series called "ALL IN," and we're going to talk about why God doesn't just want us sitting on the sidelines. He has a part for every one of us to play!

Whether you're spending your Labor Day weekend relaxing, enjoying time with family, or watching some football (GO HAWKS!), I want to invite you to make showing up at the Vineyard part of your weekend.

You have a gift, and you have a part to play!

Have you ever known you needed to let go of something, but just couldn’t?

Maybe it's the need to be in control, a relationship, a habit, or a plan for the future.

Sometimes letting go feels like losing something important, but what if letting go is actually the way we find something better?

This Sunday, as we wrap up our Jesus IRL series, we'll explore one of Jesus' most challenging—and life-changing—statements:

“If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.”

Join us this Sunday at the Vineyard as we talk about LETTING GO.

In the Vineyard, we are part of a global family of over 2500 churches all around the world. You may have seen the news about devastating flooding along the border between China and Nepal with hundreds of people dead or missing. 17 of those missing people are our brothers and sisters in Christ who attend Vineyard churches. Please join us in prayer for the families of those missing people and for all of the people affected by this tragedy. Community on a Mission Day ❤️

Different teams in different places with one mission: showing the love of Jesus in practical ways.

Thank you to every person who served, donated, prayed, cooked, cleaned, packed, handed something out, or stopped to have a conversation with someone today.

This is what it looks like to be a Community on a Mission.

Across the Quad Cities, we spent the day

• Giving away groceries and reusable bags at Aldi
• Hosting a free car wash
• Taking treats and toys to the dog park
• Handing out cold drinks throughout the city
• Serving a free lunch
• Serving families through our Free Market
• Serving at the Veterans Center
• Taking our Mobile Free Market downtown to provide food, cold drinks and care to people right where they are
• Spending time with residents at a local nursing home
• Cleaning up Kimberly Road and picking up trash throughout our community

Many people go through life carrying heavy burdens like guilt, shame, bitterness, and unforgiveness. Relationships are severed, families are broken, and we try to self-medicate and distract ourselves to avoid the pain.

This Sunday at the Vineyard, we'll be exploring how Jesus showed us the way to live in freedom through FORGIVENESS. Whether you are carrying something from your past or struggling to forgive someone who hurt you, this message is for you.

We will also be celebrating some kids who are graduating from Vineyard Kids and VK will be joining us for worship.
