The children and youth had a wonderful afternoon at Phillips cabin (one of their very favorite places!) We also got to celebrate some special birthdays! Thank you Phillip for sharing this wonderful place with us!

This Sunday will be Terry Payne’s final Sunday as our Music Director here at Saint Luke’s United Methodist Church.

As we prepare to gather for worship, we want to take time to celebrate Terry and give thanks for the many ways he has shared his gifts with our church family.

Through the choir, bells, cantatas, worship, stage designs, and so much behind-the-scenes work, Terry’s creativity and ministry have been part of the story of Saint Luke’s.

We encourage you to take a moment this week to thank Terry. Send him a card, write him a note, share a favorite memory, or simply let him know what his ministry has meant to you.

Most importantly, join us in praying for Terry and asking God’s blessing upon him as he begins this new chapter of ministry.

Terry, thank you for the music. Thank you for sharing your gifts. And thank you for your ministry among us.
