SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, October 11th, 2:00-4:00 pm at Junction City First Baptist.

JCFBC Family Missions Ministry has coordinated Trauma Training provided in partnership with Orphan Care Alliance to help us better understand the impact of trauma and how we can come alongside children and families with compassion, hope, and practical care.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Parents, Grandparents, Caregivers, Teachers,, Volunteers, and anyone who wants to grow in how they love and support others.

IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of this training (potentially showing traumatic imagery, stories, etc.), Children cannot attend the training. *If you don't think you'd benefit from the training yourself, please consider helping cover childcare for the attendees!

It’s back! 🔥BBQ Day with Mike Poynter on Saturday, October 10. All are welcome to come! Bring your smoker if you have one or come watch others to learn.

We will start at 8 am and will be cooking several things throughout the day to sample. *If you have a request on something certain you want to learn by all means ask.

We will end the day with a family picnic at 6 pm to taste all the food we have prepared for the day.

Our Women’s Ministry is excited to announce that the Bibles have arrived for their current project, the hope bags. On September 12th at 10:00 am, the ladies will be meeting at the church to highlight and tag key verses in the Bibles that will be given to cancer patients.

The official name for the bags will be "Jean's Comfort Bags" in honor of one of our own ladies, Jean Denny, who has survived cancer three times.❤️ Every lady is welcome to come grab a Bible and highlight verses while fellowshipping with other ladies!!

HELP!! The amount of individuals and families who need a ride to Junction City First Baptist Church on Sunday mornings has significantly increased. That’s a good thing!! We are happy to provide the ride, but we are short handed on who can do the pick ups.

We are now asking for $ donations to purchase 1,000 drawstring backpacks in bulk (which is less expensive) for our OCC boxes. The goal is $700. Every dollar is a blessing. If you want to help, contact Judy Walker at 859-329-8543.
