Curious about what God is doing in India and through our partners there? Come hear firsthand this Sunday at the Warehouse on Main!

We’re welcoming Pastor Samuel Olson from India as we kick off our 10:2 Series. Come ready to be encouraged, challenged, and see the harvest field differently—from right here in Danville to the other side of the world.

Join us at 10:45 AM, and stay afterward for Breaking Bread—a chance to share a meal and spend time with Pastor Olson.

🧥 From your back, to another!

Today, the Mobile Coat Room kicked off its season of local school visits at KSD! Kids who need a coat can step inside, look around, and choose one that fits—helping them stay warm as colder days arrive.

This mobile ministry is made possible by your generosity. Have coats that no longer fit, aren’t your style, or simply aren’t being worn? Please consider donating them so we can place them into the hands of someone who needs them. Please give clean coats in good condition, ready for their next owner!

A coat you no longer wear can become a blessing someone else wears every day.

Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors, one coat at a time. ❤️

PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH | PASTOR JASON KILBY 🧡

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and at CENTERPOINT, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate Pastor Jason Kilby and his family!

We are truly thankful for his heart for Jesus, his vision for the Church, and his intentional, discipleship-driven mindset. His passion for seeing people come to know Christ, grow in their faith, and become disciples who make disciples does not go unnoticed.

What makes his leadership so meaningful is that he doesn’t simply preach about serving others—he leads by example.

Whether it’s serving in public settings throughout our community, coaching soccer teams and investing in young athletes, walking alongside families, or traveling overseas to build relationships with the Gospel as the foundation, Jason continually demonstrates that ministry isn’t confined to a building or a Sunday morning.

From our neighborhoods to the nations, his desire is to meet people where they are, love them well, and point them toward Jesus.

And there is another part of his ministry that many may never fully understand. Pastor Jason does not take a salary from CENTERPOINT. Instead, he continues to work, serve, sacrifice, and give of himself in ways that often go unseen. The hours, personal sacrifices, financial commitment, and countless ways he pours into others reflect a heart that believes ministry is a calling, not simply a position.

Some of the greatest investments in the Kingdom are the ones nobody ever sees.

We are equally thankful for Sarrah and their children, who share in this calling. Ministry impacts an entire family, and their willingness to sacrifice, serve, love others, and walk faithfully alongside Jason is something we deeply appreciate.

There are early mornings, late nights, difficult conversations, hospital visits, prayers, and moments of encouragement that never make it onto social media. Yet those moments matter. They are the quiet, consistent investments that help change lives.

“Long Obedience, Same Direction.”

These aren’t simply words on a poster. They represent a life committed to following Jesus, trusting God, and continuing forward even when the road is difficult.

“We ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:12

Pastor Jason, thank you for your vision, faithfulness, humility, and willingness to lead from the front. Thank you for reminding us that the Church is not simply a place we attend, but a people called to go, serve, love, and make disciples.

We thank God for you, Sarrah, and your entire family. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed, your leadership matters, and your investment in the Kingdom is making a difference.

CENTERPOINT loves and appreciates you! 🧡🙌

CENTER ON JESUS. POINT TO JESUS. LIVE FOR JESUS.

Changed Lives, Change Lives!

REALITY | Week 1: The Lie

This past Sunday, we began our new series, REALITY: There’s more going on than what you see.

In Ephesians 6:10–18, Paul reminds us that the battle is real—but people are not our ultimate enemy. Evil works to distort what is true and pull us away from trusting God. We don’t have to respond with fear or blame. In Christ, we can stand firm in truth, seek wise help, and take our next faithful step.

Take a few minutes to reflect:

1. What situation is stirring fear, anger, or discouragement in me—and what support or wisdom might I need?
2. What am I believing about God, myself, or someone else? Does it line up with God’s truth?
3. Since people are not our ultimate enemy, what would it look like to respond with both truth and grace today?

Which question is staying with you? Share a word or a next step in the comments. You don’t have to share personal details—if you’d like prayer, send us a message. Save this post to revisit during the week, or share it with someone who could use the encouragement.

The battle is real. The lie is not the truth. And in Jesus, darkness does not get the final word.

NEXTGEN SPOTLIGHT | CHERI Frederick

We are incredibly thankful for Cheri Frederick and her husband Ken as they both pour countless hours into the NextGEN. Cheri faithfully leads our NextGEN College Ministry at CENTERPOINT.

Cheri has a genuine heart for the next generation—investing in students, encouraging them, walking alongside them, and continually pointing them toward Jesus. Discipleship takes time, consistency, and a willingness to simply be present, and Cheri continues to do just that.

“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example…” — 1 Timothy 4:12

Cheri and Ken, thank you for loving students, investing in their lives, and helping raise up the next generation of disciples. We are grateful for you both! 🙌
