September 6, 2026 - Twenty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time
Parish Announcements

1. The parish office will be closed and Holy Mass will not be celebrated on September 7th.

2. Parishioners are invited to gather at the church on the 13th of every month at 7 p.m. to pray the Rosary for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Fellowship will follow for one hour.

3. OCIA classes will begin on Sunday, September 13th, following the 12 noon Holy Mass in classroom B in Our Lady of Guadalupe Religious Education Center.

4. The Women’s Altar Rosary Guild will be hosting a Fall Bake Sale Next Saturday and Sunday following all Holy Masses.

5. Our Religious Education and Youth Ministry programs are asking for your support by donating necessary food items for our Nacho Booth at the upcoming Paulding Meadows Arts and Crafts Festival to be held on September 12th and 13th. Confirmation teens are asked to help prepare and serve food in three-hour volunteer shifts. Please refer to the poster in the narthex for details. Discounted admission tickets are available for purchase after most Masses. Please see Mary Ware.

6. Our parish Fall Festival will be held on October 10th. We are looking for volunteers to help with the festival, as well as tents and/or tables to use that day. Donations are being accepted for the silent auction and later baked goods. If you are interested in setting up a food or vendor booth, we would love to hear from you. Silent auction items and donations of sodas or water may be placed in classroom 7 of the church building. Are you interested in becoming Catholic or have you been away from the Church and want to know more or have been a Catholic all your life but never celebrated the sacraments of Holy Eucharist or Confirmation, then you are invited to attend our OCIA Inquiry Session in the library following Holy Mass today. Formal classes will start on September 13th. Classes will also be available in Spanish at an alternate time.

The groups will meet on alternating Wednesdays. The Women’s Bible Study will begin this coming Wednesday, August 12th. The Men’s Cor Initiative group will begin on August 19th.

Through our second collection today, we will be participating in the Archdiocese for Military Services collection. It is the mission of this archdiocese that faithful Catholics be able to seek sacramental preparation, benefit from consultation with a priest and receive the sacrament of penance as they defend our rights and face constant transition and uncertainty. Prayerfully consider a donation to help minister to the 1.8 million Catholics throughout the U.S. and around the globe who serve.
