I believe some of us are in a season of transition and enlargement, but the process of getting there may not look anything like we expected.

You can see where you're going. You know something is shifting. You can even recognize that there is more room ahead of you, but you still don't have the “keys” yet.

Don't mistake that waiting period for denial.

Sometimes God will show you what's ahead before He allows you to fully occupy it. There may still be instructions to follow, details to handle, things to release, and unfamiliar paths to walk.

And here's what stood out to me: just because the path looks difficult doesn't mean you're going the wrong way.

There may be places where the ground feels uncertain and you're having to depend on God for every step.

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it.” — Isaiah 30:21

Follow the instructions for the step you're on.

Don't carry what doesn't belong to you.

Don't chase people trying to give them something they've refused to receive.

Don't become discouraged because everything hasn't been handed over yet.

And don't overlook the provision God places along the journey.

Sometimes we're so focused on reaching the destination that we miss the fruit growing right beside us. There can be refreshing, provision and goodness available even while we're still transitioning.

“O taste and see that the LORD is good.” — Psalm 34:8

I also believe we have to pay attention to the details in this season. Don't assume something is completely handled just because you started the process a long time ago. Pray. Ask questions. Read the fine print. Count the cost. Handle whatever God puts in front of you.

“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost…” — Luke 14:28

And most importantly, don't assume what you can currently see is all there is.

There may be another level you haven't even walked into yet.

You may have only seen the downstairs while God already knows what's waiting upstairs.

“Enlarge the place of thy tent…” — Isaiah 54:2

The process may still be unfolding. The decision may still be pending. The keys may not be in your hands yet.

But keep following God.

Keep moving when He says move.

Keep receiving the refreshing He provides along the way.

And don't become discouraged by the process required to possess what is ahead.

There may be more room waiting for you than you realize.

Don’t be distracted by the flashy. Check for the humility.

I think sometimes we can get so caught up in how something looks that we forget to pay attention to what it’s producing.

Someone can be gifted, speak well, have a large platform, know Scripture, and know exactly how to get people’s attention. But none of those things automatically tell us what’s happening in their heart.

Jesus said, “You will know them by their fruits.” — Matthew 7:16

So look at the fruit.

Is there humility? Can they receive correction? Do they always have to be seen, heard, recognized, or celebrated? Are they pointing people back to Jesus, or are they constantly pointing people back to themselves?

Because Scripture says, “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” — James 4:6

Jesus had all power and authority, yet He still washed feet. He didn’t have to prove who He was every five minutes. His life spoke for Him.

That’s something I believe we need to pay attention to in this season.

Don’t let charisma make you overlook character. Don’t let a gift make you ignore the fruit. And don’t assume that because something is popular, powerful-looking, or getting a lot of attention that God is necessarily behind it.

Sometimes what God is doing won’t be the loudest or flashiest thing in the room.

“For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.” — Luke 14:11

Pay attention to the posture.

Pay attention to the fruit.

Pay attention to the humility.

The goal isn’t to look powerful. The goal is to look more like Jesus.

I believe there are some things God has been developing that are about to outgrow the capacity that once held them.

Do not measure what God is doing in your life by an ordinary timeline.

There may have been seasons when the growth seemed slow, steady, and almost unnoticeable. But then comes a season of acceleration,where what God has been developing begins to grow faster than you expected.

And suddenly, what used to fit doesn’t fit anymore.

The old structure may not fit.
The old routine may not fit.
The old mindset may not fit.
The old capacity may not fit.
Even some environments that once accommodated you may no longer have enough room for what God is developing within you.

But hear this clearly: accelerated growth does not automatically mean immediate release.

Just because something has developed quickly does not mean we should force it into manifestation prematurely. There is still an appointed time.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come.” — Habakkuk 2:3

This may be a season where God is allowing you to recognize just how much has developed while simultaneously preparing you for the capacity you will need to carry what comes next.

Don't force the birth.
Don't rush the process.
Don't become discouraged by the measurements.
And don't try to squeeze what God is growing into something He has already allowed you to outgrow.

Prepare for greater capacity.

There is a difference between being ready for expansion and being released into it. Let God determine both the growth and the timing.

What He is developing may be further along than you realize.

Stay prayerful.
Stay obedient.
Stay prepared.

When the appointed time comes, you won't have to force what God has already prepared to bring forth.

I feel a strong call tonight to get our anointing oil, pray, and anoint ourselves, our families, and our dwelling places while declaring the Word of God and covering everything in prayer through the blood of Jesus. I’m about to anoint everything in my home now.

The oil itself is not where the power is. Our faith is in Jesus Christ. Throughout Scripture, however, oil was used as a visible act of consecration,something or someone being set apart unto God.

Exodus 40:9 — God instructed Moses to anoint the tabernacle and everything in it, consecrating it and setting it apart.

James 5:14 — The elders of the church were instructed to pray over the sick, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord.

1 Samuel 16:13 — Samuel anointed David with oil, and Scripture says the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David from that day forward.

And when I speak about covering my family and home in the blood of Jesus, I am declaring my faith in what Jesus accomplished through His sacrifice. Revelation 12:11 says, “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.”

There is also a powerful picture in Exodus 12:7, 13, when the Israelites placed the blood of the Passover lamb on their doorposts. The blood was a sign connected to God's covenant instruction and deliverance. For believers today, Jesus is our Passover Lamb (1 Corinthians 5:7), and our confidence is in His finished work.

So when I anoint my home, I’m not performing a ritual because I believe oil has magical power. I am praying, consecrating my household to God, and declaring who this house belongs to.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. — Joshua 24:15

I’m praying over every room.
I’m praying over every entrance.
I’m praying over my husband and my children.
I’m praying over myself.
I’m dedicating what God has entrusted to me back to Him.

Jesus, this home belongs to You. Our family belongs to You. Let Your peace dwell here. Give us wisdom and discernment. Guard our hearts and minds. Let everything within these walls honor You. We place our confidence in the blood of Jesus and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over this household.

If you feel that same prompting, pray and seek the Lord. Consecrate yourself and your household to Him, and remember: our protection and authority are not found in the oil,they are found in Jesus Christ.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus,

We come before You declaring that You alone are our God, our refuge, our provider, our protector, and the One in whom we place our trust. We refuse to allow fear, thoughts of death, lack, or poverty to rule our hearts. We bring every thought, every worry, and every circumstance under the authority of Jesus Christ and the truth of Your Word.

We come against fear. Your Word declares in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Therefore, we reject fear, torment, panic, intimidation, and every lie that tells us something terrible is going to happen. We declare that our minds belong to Christ. We will not be governed by what we see, what we hear, or what we feel. We will walk by faith and not by sight.

According to Isaiah 41:10, You tell us, “Fear not, for I am with you.” So we declare: God is with us. We will not fear. God will strengthen us. God will help us. God will uphold us with His righteous right hand.

We reject the fear and oppression associated with death. Jesus, You declared in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life.” Psalm 118:17 declares, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.” Therefore, we will not spend our lives imprisoned by the fear of dying. Our lives and our times are in Your hands.

We declare Psalm 91 over our households. You are our refuge and our fortress. We will not be afraid of the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day. Give us wisdom to recognize danger, courage to act when necessary, and peace that prevents fear from controlling us.

Father, we bring every fear concerning lack and poverty before You. Your Word declares in Philippians 4:19, “My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” We choose to believe Your Word above our circumstances.

Break every unhealthy mindset of scarcity, hopelessness, and defeat. Give us wisdom to steward what You place in our hands. Give us discipline, creativity, opportunities, resources, favor, and discernment. Teach us when to save, when to sow, when to move, when to wait, and when to act.

According to Matthew 6:31–33, we will not allow our lives to be consumed with anxiety over what we will eat, drink, or wear. We will seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and trust You with what we need.

Your Word says in Psalm 23:1, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

So today we declare:

Fear will not govern us.
Death will not terrorize us.
Lack will not define us.
Poverty will not become our identity.
Anxiety will not control our decisions.
Our circumstances will not speak louder than the Word of God.

We declare life, peace, wisdom, provision, protection, and soundness of mind over our homes and families.

Where fear has entered, let Your perfect love drive it out according to 1 John 4:18.

Where hopelessness has entered, restore hope.

Where there has been financial pressure, give us wisdom and provide what is necessary.

Where doors need to open according to Your will, open them.

Where doors would lead us away from You, close them.

Where we need strategy, give us strategy.

Where we need patience, give us patience.

Where we need courage to obey, strengthen us.

Father, we refuse to partner with fear concerning tomorrow. Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:34 not to worry about tomorrow. We surrender tomorrow to You.

We declare Psalm 27:1: “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over our lives, our homes, our families, our minds, our resources, and our future.

We will walk in faith.

We will walk in wisdom.

We will walk in obedience.

We will trust the Lord even when we cannot see what He is doing.

And when fear attempts to return, we will answer it with the Word of God.

The Lord is our Shepherd.
The Lord is our Refuge.
The Lord is our Provider.
The Lord is our Defender.
The Lord is our Peace.
And our confidence is in Him.

In the mighty name of Jesus,

TIMING MATTERS.

I’ve been thinking about how closely timing and alignment work together. We can know what God told us to do and still create unnecessary difficulty when we move outside of His timing.

Sometimes the instruction is right, but the timing isn’t.

There are moments when God says move, and there are moments when He says wait. Both require obedience.

We can become so focused on what God said that we forget to continue listening for when He wants us to do it.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

That means purpose has timing attached to it.

Think about it: you can arrive at the right place at the wrong time and still miss what was supposed to happen there.

That’s why discernment is so important. We don't want to move prematurely because we're anxious, excited, frustrated, or tired of waiting. But we also don't want fear, hesitation, or the need for constant confirmation to keep us standing still when God has already told us to move.

Alignment isn’t only about being in the right place. It’s about being in the right place, doing the right thing, at the right time.

There are doors that require you to recognize the season. There are instructions that require immediate obedience. And there are things God may show you ahead of time that require you to wait until He releases you to act.

This is why our relationship with God matters.

Lord, teach us Your timing. Give us discernment to know when to move and wisdom to know when to wait. Keep us from running ahead of You, but also keep us from lagging behind because of fear. Help us remain sensitive to Your direction so that when You say move, we move,and when You say wait, we trust You enough to wait. Keep us aligned with Your will, Your purpose, and Your timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Don’t just pray for the promise. Pray to recognize the timing connected to it.

Today really put something into perspective for me.
I’m an administrator in a support group dedicated to heart failure, and I was contacted by email by a woman who wanted to join our community. She lives in Iraq and was diagnosed with Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM). She told me she doesn’t know anyone around her who has this condition. She was afraid, searching for answers, and simply needed someone who understood to give her some guidance and hope.

As I was talking with her, I caught myself speaking from the perspective of the resources available to me here in the United States. I talked about things that have been part of my own journey,wearable defibrillators, implanted defibrillators, medications, procedures, specialists,and then I realized that she may not have access to the same resources I’ve had access to.

That hit me hard.

I was able to encourage her because some of the heart-failure medications she has been prescribed are medications that are also commonly used in PPCM treatment. I reminded her that improvement is possible and encouraged her to continue working closely with her cardiologist and taking her medications as prescribed.

But hearing how limited her options may be broke my heart. She described being given medication, told to take spoonfuls of honey, and essentially hope for the best.

Today had already felt unusually emotional for me. I’ve had tears in my eyes throughout the day because I’ve felt such a heaviness for people going through situations that feel desperate. Then, one after another, people began reaching out to me with very serious circumstances.

It reminded me that sometimes we don’t realize how blessed we are simply to have access to resources. Something we consider a normal part of medical care may not even be available to someone in another part of the world.

So my prayer tonight is bigger than my household, my community, or even my country.

Lord, remember the people in every nation who are sick and afraid. Remember the mothers, fathers, and children who need medical care they cannot access. Protect those who don’t have the devices, specialists, medications, technology, or financial resources others may have. Connect them with knowledgeable doctors and people who can advocate for them. Give medical professionals wisdom. Open doors for resources to reach places where they are desperately needed. Give hope to the person who has been told there is nothing more that can be done.

And help us never become so accustomed to what we have that we forget to pray for those who don’t have the same access.

We have to pray beyond our own borders.

“For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.” — 1 Corinthians 10:26
