that the church is a diverse community united by the love of God

On Sunday Kale began the study of, The Life of Joseph, from Genesis 37, titled The Pit. Joseph’s brothers strip him of his robe, throw him into a cistern, and put an end to his dream.

We were reminded that betrayal, hardship, and disappointment may place us in a pit, but they cannot stop God’s purposes. The dream didn’t die in the pit because God was still at work.

Whatever God has planned, no failure, setback, or betrayal can overcome it. The pit doesn’t get the last word—God does.

On Sunday, we kicked off the season with our annual Summer Kickoff event! Everyone enjoyed hot dogs, sno cones, and of course, the annual kickball games were the main event. The temperature was hot, but the competition was even hotter as teams battled it out on the field!

We’re kicking off summer with a fun-filled Sunday planned for you!

Tomorrow morning, everyone is invited to wear Hawaiian shirts — including during our 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. worship services. We’ll also have a special photo backdrop, plus coffee, refreshments, and fellowship before and after services.

Then join us Sunday evening at 5 p.m. for our annual kickball game and hot dog cookout! ☀️🕶️🌺

Our summer children’s ministry intern, Maddie Parrish, is here! She took some time to get to know a few of our kids by asking them some important questions about our upcoming Vacation Bible School.

On Sunday, Kale wrapped up our Still Standing series in the final chapter of 1 Thessalonians. We were reminded that following Jesus was never meant to be a solo endeavor, but a call to live, grow, and walk through hardships together as a connected community. We rejoice, pray, and give thanks in all circumstances by encouraging and supporting one another through every season of life.

We were challenged to stop doing life alone, take responsibility for the community around us, and fix our eyes on Jesus together.

On Sunday, we heard from members of our CrossPoint Missions team as they shared about our upcoming summer mission trips to Honduras and Mission of the Hills in Marble Falls, Texas.
