Kale continues in the sermon series The Life of Joseph. This week, we were reminded that God didn’t forget Joseph, and He won’t forget His plan for us.

In Genesis 41, after years of waiting in prison, Joseph is brought before Pharaoh to interpret a dream. God gives him wisdom to understand the dream and prepare Egypt for what is coming, leading to Joseph’s rise from prisoner to ruler.

Through Joseph’s story, we see that God is working even in seasons of waiting. Joseph stayed faithful, gave God the credit, and trusted Him through every setback. The pit and the prison were not the end of the story—they were part of God’s plan.

Continuing our series on the life of Joseph, In Genesis 39, Joseph faced temptation day after day in Potiphar’s house. Rather than staying and trying to prove his strength, he fled and chose faithfulness to God.

This week’s sermon reminded us that fleeing temptation is not weakness—it is wisdom. Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is walk away from the places, people, and situations that lead us toward sin and trust God with the outcome.

The first night of VBS was so much fun! We learned about the story of Joseph and discovered that God is good and has a plan for our lives.

We also had a great time worshiping God, playing games, making fun crafts, and enjoying yummy snacks.
