Join ISAK and the broader community for a day of service in Akron’s North Hill community!

The Prophet ﷺ taught us: “The most beloved people to Allah are those who bring the most benefit to others.”

Better the Community for the Sake of Allah SWT! We’ll work side-by-side with 500+ volunteers on a variety of projects like painting murals, preparing meals, cleaning gardens, making teacher appreciation gifts, and more. Each act a chance to seek Allah’s pleasure through helping His creation.

This event will not only contribute to the betterment of our community but also provide our community members and youth with valuable experiences in giving back. Lunch will be provided.

⚽ ISAK Sunday School Sports Club – Boys Soccer Club | Fall 2026 Registration Now Open! ⚽

The ISAK Sports Club is excited to welcome boys ages 5–17 to our Fall 2026 Boys Soccer Club, led by our professional soccer coach, Coach Ismael Gad.

This program is designed to help young athletes develop their soccer skills, build confidence, strengthen teamwork, and enjoy a fun, positive, and faith-centered environment.

📅 Fall Season: Every Sunday, August 9 – October 25, 2026
🕝 Time: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
💲 Cost: $150 per season

We are excited to announce our upcoming soccer tryouts! This is a great opportunity for players to showcase their skills, compete, and earn a place on the ISAK team.

📅 Date: Sunday, August 9, 2026
🕛 Time: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
📍 Location: Soccer Field in the ISAK Recreation Area

Players should bring:
Cleats
Shin guards
Water bottle
One black shirt
One white shirt
Soccer ball:
* Ages 9 and under: Size 4
* Ages 10 and older: Size 5

Please arrive 15–20 minutes early to check in and warm up before tryouts begin.

🥋 ISAK Sunday School Sports Club I ISAK Girls Martial Arts Club (2026–2027 Season) 🥋

Empower your daughter with confidence, discipline, and practical self-defense in a fun, supportive, and faith-centered environment!

The ISAK Sunday School Sports Club is excited to offer our year-round Girls Martial Arts Club for girls ages 5–17. Students will develop martial arts techniques, improve focus and fitness, build leadership skills, and form lasting friendships while progressing through belt levels.

📅 Season: August 9, 2026 – August 1, 2027
🕝 Practice: Every Sunday | 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
💲 Cost: $50 per month
👧 Ages: 5–17 (Girls Only)

🏅 Season Finale:
The year concludes with a Dojo Tournament on August 1, 2027, where students will have the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they've learned throughout the season. Based on their performance and readiness, participants may be eligible to advance to the next belt level.

Whether your daughter is a beginner or has previous martial arts experience, this program is designed to help her grow physically, mentally, and spiritually.

ISAK Sunday School is seeking a dedicated and visionary Principal to lead our institution with excellence, passion, and integrity. This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of Islamic education by fostering a positive dynamic learning environment for our students.

📌 Position: Principal, ISAK Sunday School
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Serve as the chief administrator of ISAK Sunday School, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission.
✅ Oversee staff management, including teacher appointments, scheduling, and curriculum implementation.
✅ Develop and implement extra-curricular programs that enrich student learning.
✅ Manage school supplies to facilitate smooth operations.
✅ Conduct regular evaluations of school staff to implement established performance benchmarks and drive continuous improvements.
✅ Communicate with the ISAK Sunday School Governing Board regularly about the needs, successes and general operation of the school.
✅ Submit monthly financial reports detailing cash inflows and outflows.
✅ Mediate and resolve conflicts that require principal-level intervention.
✅ Track and submit staff work hours for payroll processing through ISAK.
✅ Maintain comprehensive staff, student, and financial records.

🔹 Qualifications & Requirements:
✔️ Character: Reflecting Islamic values with high ethical and moral standards.
✔️ Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Education).
✔️ Leadership & Communication: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire and manage a team.
✔️ Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
✔️ Commitment to Islamic Education: Passion for fostering a nurturing and faith-centered learning environment. Experience in working with young muslims is preferred.
✔️ Flexibility & Dedication: Willingness to fulfill responsibilities beyond standard school hours.
✔️ Comfortable with basic technology.
✔️ Reports directly to the ISAK Sunday School Governing Board.

Our Sisters’ Eid Night brought together sisters for an evening filled with laughter, delicious food, and even better company, Alhamdulillah. It was also an opportunity to honor the resilience and faith of our brothers and sisters facing hardship around the world.

We were delighted to welcome Taimaa HouriZada, whose reflection on the verse “Indeed, with hardship comes ease” (Qur’an 94:6) reminded us that Allah (SWT) places ease even within hardship, whether through small blessings, moments of peace, or the mercy He provides during times of struggle.
