So grateful these songs have come to life. They are the fruit of our artist retreat this past January. We debuted them live yesterday at our Art and Music Festival in Tappan, NY where we partnered with One Church, Redeemer Franklin, Dave Edwards, and many more. The beautiful artwork is by the brilliant Kate Norris. The festival was a huge success! Pics and videos to come. Special thank you to Creo Arts for partnering with us in this whole endeavor! One of the definitions of stress that I have heard is: stress is what you feel when you think your needs will not be met. I think it’s safe to say that on a global scale we have been under a lot of stress. Wars, fires, earthquakes, storms, etc. I often find myself asking, “How are these needs going to be met?” Stress! Amazingly, Jesus shows us how he uses our need to change everything when he's faced with a hungry crowd of thousands. This past weekend Dandelion Ministries led the annual Teen Retreat for the Anglican Diocese in New England up in southern New Hampshire. It was an amazing time with 75 teens and 23 volunteer leaders. The Spirit of the Lord moved powerfully throughout the weekend. We thought we’d share our talks from the weekend with you. You know how Facebook will send you memories as the not-so-subtle prod to you to stay active on the site? Sub-text: “Post something for crying out loud!” Well, I got one of those this past week of the day I baptized my youngest daughter. She was just about to turn 1. This week she turns 12! I’m not sure Facebook intends it, but nowadays it basically amounts to just one big reminder that I’m getting old. I don’t spend much time on Facebook any more. But it did get me reflecting on life a bit…and the things that matter.
