“This is the bread that came down from heaven.
Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died,
whoever eats this bread will live forever.” John 6

The Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Jesus. Corpus Christi. The One Bread. The One Body. Manna from Heaven. Just as the Jews received life sustaining bread in the dessert, we now receive the Bread from Heaven.

Appropriately, today, Fr. Francis commissioned the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. 🌾🍇 🫓🍷

Take some time to learn more about this devotion before dismissing it. Living the domestic Church is a vocation for Catholics.
Fill your days with prayer, devotion, charity, almsgiving, and sacrifices or something not so good will fill the days. ❤️‍🔥

There’s nothing ordinary about Ordinary Time in living a liturgical life as The Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
to God who is, who was, and who is to come.

A fitting Sunday Liturgy as we celebrate the high school graduates from the parish. The readings and prayers fit these faith-filled youth as they’ve grown academically and spiritually together. Keep them in your prayers they continue the life long journey of growing in knowledge and faith and go forth putting all they’ve learned into action.

To accompany his constant calls for peace in the world, Pope Leo XIV will lead the prayer of the Holy Rosary on May 30 at 7:00 PM Rome time from the Vatican Gardens. 1:00 PM Ohio time.

🙏🏼He will lead the faithful in Shrines around the world in praying the Joyful Mysteries, with each decade being dedicated specifically for those affected by war and violence and entrusting them to the intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace.

🌹The first mystery prays for the victims of war, especially the most vulnerable, while the second is for those who bring words of hope and the comfort of faith to populations affected by war. The third recalls the medical and paramedical personnel and volunteers who bring humanitarian aid every day.

🌹The fourth mystery prays for those who suffer the violence of war, for prisoners and for all who endure humiliations that violate human dignity. The fifth and final Joyful Mystery is dedicated to praying for an end to war and the establishment of lasting peace in the world.

We are quick to criticize, post negative comments, and believe what the secular news broadcasts in brief reports. How quick are we in honoring and praising our Lord, offering prayers for others, making reparations for our sins, and loving thy neighbor? Pray with Mary and faithful Christians today the Joyful Mysteries for peace.

🌹Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us!

This Saturday, May 30, Pope Leo XIV will lead a powerful worldwide Rosary for Peace from the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in the Vatican Gardens at 7:00 PM Rome time.

In a beautiful display of unity, major Marian shrines across the world are joining the Holy Father in this special prayer:

- Our Lady of Fatima (Portugal)
- Our Lady of Lourdes (France)
- Our Lady of Medjugorje (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
- Our Lady of Antipolo (Philippines)
- Our Lady of Zarvanytsia (Ukraine)

…along with many other important Marian shrines worldwide.

Each decade of the Joyful Mysteries will be offered for those affected by war — especially the suffering, the vulnerable, humanitarian workers, and for the gift of lasting peace.

This coordinated global prayer during the final days of Marian Month shows the Church’s deep trust in the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace.

🙏 You can join from home, your parish, or any of the participating shrines. Will you unite your prayer with the Pope and these holy places?
