Join us Sundays at 10:30am and fellowship where Christians have worshipped for over 100 years! Please join us for Worship at 10:30am each Sunday (even on snow days). We also have Sunday School for all ages at 9:30am.

Ever been invited to a wedding and you have to RSVP?

Before you know it the wedding date is here and you forgot. You figure I’ll just go and surely, they’ll let me in. After all, I was invited.

So, you clean yourself up and put on your best clothes. You look in the mirror and think, I look so good, there’s no way I’m not getting in. The wedding is at a beautiful gated private estate. You can’t wait to see what’s on the inside. This is going to be a special night and it cost you nothing. Then, there’s a problem.

At the gate, they ask your name and tell you that you’re not on the list. You tell them, "but I was invited". No matter how much you argue, they send you away, telling you that your name was not written down in the book! You did not respond to the RSVP.

That’s Heaven.

God wants you there.

He sent you the invitation.

All you have to do is accept it.
Not after you clean yourself up. Not when you “look” presentable, the way you think you’re expected to look.
No, you have to accept before it’s too late. Otherwise, you’re not getting in. Don’t wait until it’s too late to respond.

Simply Respond by asking Jesus to come into your life and you acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior over it publicly! Tell Him you want to follow Him the rest of your life! Then go get baptized and lifted up out of that water Renewed! All your sins will be forgiven! Thank Him for inviting you! Thank Him for writing your name down for the Ultimate Wedding, the Lambs Book of Life!

A church that had declined to 17 is growing again. Four baptisms in six months. New people. Renewed hope.

But this isn’t about numbers.
It’s about people finding Christ, growing in God’s Word, and joining the work.

At Cummings Christian Church, we believe God is still rebuilding.
There are still people to reach.
There is still work to do.
