Bible Baptist Church is, without apology, an old-fashioned, fundamental, Bible-believing, independent Baptist church. You will hear hearty “Amens!” in our worship services and Old Time Religion is still Alive and Well!! We strive to minister to the whole family. Children’s programs and youth programs include King’s Kids launching August 2013 and TRAC (Teens Redeemed And Called) Club. We have Sunday School classes for all ages with a solid, relevant, Biblical curriculum. Every Sunday we run several bus routes throughout the Crossville area bringing boys and girls to church. Bible Baptist Church believes and supports worldwide missions. Currently we are supporting 12 missionary families in several countries. By the grace of God we hope to do even more in the days ahead. As I was reading Genesis 5 in my morning devotions today, one phrase stood out above all the others:

"Enoch walked with God."

Genesis 5 records the lives of many people. Some lived more than 900 years. Yet one of the greatest testimonies in the entire chapter isn't about how long Enoch lived, what he accomplished, or what he possessed.

It's simply this:

"Enoch walked with God."

It caused me to stop and ask myself a question:

If my life could be summarized in just a few words, what would I want them to be?

Achievements fade... Possessions disappear... Titles are forgotten... But to have it truthfully said,

"He walked with God,"

would be a life well lived.

My prayer today is that I won't merely know about God, but that I will walk with Him...day by day, step by step, until He calls me home.

Genesis 5:24 "And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."
