I'm gonna preach a minute so either hold on or scroll on.

In just a few days time I've gotten the privilege to be with a young couple (in Oklahoma) as they started their journey in married life. And today the privilege of standing with a couple (in Louisville) of 47 years as the husband left this world to be with his Savior.

Both women, made nearly identical statements....."I have a man who who loves me, but loves Jesus more".

In joy and in pain the constant is Jesus. One breath exhaled here and the next breath fully healed and alive in the presence of King Jesus for those who choose Him.

One thing that the older lady said is something I think many do....."we had plans, we were going to travel and do things and now it's too late".

If only when we were young we had the foresight to realize what lies ahead isn't more money or more opportunity, it's less time. Time marches on. It can never be duplicated or saved, it can only be spent and so we must do it wisely.

Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, fearing NO evil, because Jesus is with me. His rod and His staff bring me comfort and security....

May Jesus comfort you today and set your feet to the narrow path.
